Time Being
It's gotta be Thurs the 6th and Sun the 9th right? Or could it be Thurs, Sep 29th and Sun Oct 2? Looking at the Thingy, it seems there's never been a Thurs coach sale in Sep.

You could buy them over the counter in record shops.
DareToDibble
Pretty sure it'll be Thurs the 6th and Sun the 9th. Much like the festival won't run over a weekend that runs into July, I don't think ticket sales have ever fallen into September. At least not in recent years. Ah, the good ol' days. (For want of a definition, I am not suggesting Thatcherism was the good ol' days.)

Aye that was amazing. Under the influence too. Lloyd Cole and the commotions on before and you could see the storm moving from behind the pyramid with fork lightening on both sides of the stage

As you say plenty didn't bring camping gear, planning to kip under the stars or party all night. They'd never really had a muddy one apparently, so the sight of all these folks with plastic bags on their shoes was quite something. Splatt
Crazy to think that only a few years back they only sold tickets a couple months before fest. Now everything has to be booked so far in advance.
mufcok
When do they tend to announce this officially? It's been a while..
StevieMcK
It's usually the first Sunday in October and it always clashes with the Great Scottish Run later on that morning (which means I'm either on cloud nine and loving life for 13 miles or absolutely pissed off that I never got a ticket). I reckon it'll be the 2nd October this year.
