It's very much normal for the late spring warmth to break down around now. The Big Question has always been when it'll happen and it's regularly been during the festival, with beautiful weather on the weekends either side.

This year it's happening the weekend before Glastonbury. I consider this hopeful.

And as ever y'all need to wait for the ensembles. Starting to get the whole festival into the 3hr resolution frame. Pressure building over the festival period, chances of some showers Weds/Sats. Absolutely not a washout - generally mixed and not too hot, normal British weather. This pattern's been clear for a week or so now.

As much as hotter (>22) weather is lovely, I'm walking around in shorts and a light jacket at 18 and it's just so...livable. Maybe a bit chilly, but it's so easy to do stuff. Especially when walking about. And the pockets! Extra pockets from the jacket!!

No offense to Gav, he seems nice enough, but isn't he just reading from the least accurate model at this timeframe? And he's never been to the festival, so it's not as if he has any particular insights as to what effect the weather will have.

Its 20 & cloudy, but dry in Manchester. TShirt & shorts on. Very comfortable. I'd bite your hand off for 5 days of this from wednesday

Looks alright 20-22 degrees. I'd still take a small finger, a pinky, perhaps? Push it up to highs of 24.
