What happened to this being a left field/alternative festival. Is it new bookers or something, absolute joke line up and no different to the commercial shit mainstream festivals that are two a penny in Europe One word: money

kaytee...
Has it been confirmed if they've still got the beach area for next year?
neacaisa
there are some bucket list acts for me, but apart from that i don't see it as a very good line up for prima standards.
diogozsz
It’s so insane that they managed to book an established HUGE kpop act like Red Velvet
Quadrophobia
The price hike was well worth it, considering we got Calvin Harris and Skrillex for that
UsernameHere
Kendrick, Blur, Depeche Mode, My Morning Jacket, Death Grips, NxWorries, Pusha T, Four Tet, Darkside, Swans, JPEGMAFIA, FKA Twigs, Fred Again.. should all be great and I'm sure I've missed some. There'll be plenty of great acts on during Calvin Harris & Skrillex.

Let's not forget the whole Primavera 'book' malarkey with people who kept their tickets.
DDave
I keep forgetting Depeche Mode are playing. So... no Walkmen either.
TheFullShaboo
Inflation or not, 325 euros is very steep for that lineup.
Enkidu
Le Tigre is pretty great. Wonder if there's any chance of a surprise Bikini Kill show too, after they d*bbed down this year
pipan
After watching the video three times, my current feelings are excitement and happiness, so many great names I wanted to see on the line-up and so many more I didn't even expect. It also looks quite more expensive than last years - at least I got this feeling from the video (seeing the names on the poster may change my mind). festiall
The Moldy Peaches how random excited anyway
bananaa52
what is odd is that Calvin Harris and Skrillex are not even on the mainstream nowadays, maybea decade ago, unlike Migos or Cardi B or J Balvin that were on the top of their notability
Supernintendo Chalmers
Decent lineup but it doesn't scream Primavera to me

Quadrophobia
The Mars Volta and The War On Drugs being Madrid exclusive and BCN getting Ghost is also quite weird Edited November 29, 2022 by Quadrophobia
broccoli
calvin harris / skrillex shithousery aside there’s a lot of good stuff for me there. Super excited for BYOP and Kendrick

Gregorick
Agree that Skrillex and Calvin Harris are bizarre bookings by PS. However the rest of that lineup is pretty excellent tbh. Four Tet, Built to Spill, Swans, Perfume, Self Esteem, Soul Glo, TWOD, Turnstile, John Cale, HudMo, Alex G, Boris, Twigs, Caroline Polachek, JPEGMAFIA, Kelela, Le Tigre, Alvvays. lessthanwill1
Jake Bugg very odd booking (he’s on either of the two opening Wednesdays with Pet Shop Boys).
dreams_burn_down
Good but not great lineup IMO. Probably will give it a miss as doing my first Glastonbury this year, so it would have had to be incredible to tempt me. Blur, Kendrick, and FKA twigs are pretty awesome headliners. Not sure about the Skrillex/Calvin Harris bookings..... I forgot Be Your Own Pet are playing shows again, but now I am desperately hoping they do a UK date!! Will be hard saying no to Turnstile, Karate, Come, and Kelela as well.
chilirocker
1 minute ago, TheFullShaboo said: Inflation or not, 325 euros is very steep for that lineup. I don't think it is. Kendrick was €110 alone for his tour, Rosalia is selling out all over Europe, Depeche Mode is a festival exclusive, the Blur Wembley show is over €100. Yeah Calvin Harris and Skrillex are odd bookings, but it's still a solidly Primavera line up outside of a few acts who they are obviously under pressure to book to increase ticket sales and profits.
