The Bin crew are doing the charity bins again this year.

GLASTONBURY 2022!

As per tradition, we'll be painting personalised bins for anyone kind enough to make a donation to CARE International. In 2019 we raised over £4400, helping save the lives of thousands of people, let's try and beat that figure this year, do something great and sponsor your very own Glastonbury bin!

Make sure to leave what you want painted on your bin and your name in the comment, and to leave your contact details in the correct boxes in case we need to get in touch (Read below for rules)

  •  There are 100 guaranteed charity bins in easy to find locations for those who make the minimum donation
  •  £40 donation - Guaranteed bin + tweet and instagram of your bin and where to find it
  •  under £40 donation - All efforts will be made to get your bin done, but will be once the others have been finished
  •  £40+ Skip to the front of the queue!
  •  Try & refrain from sending photos of people/pets, they will be done but don't forget that we have 14,000 bins to paint, so it may have to be rushed and look naff!
  •  No swear words or telephone numbers, no paragraphs!
  •  Requests must be family friendly (no distressing scenes, no sexual anything, no Boris Johnson)
  •  You cannot request your bin to be in a specific area, bins are sometimes moved around after painting.

I’ve just done this. Brilliant! Thank you.

We call one of my mates ‘The Wonky Camel’. He was originally just ‘The Camel’ but then… well, you know 😂

So he now has a bin.

Not heard anything yet, I didn’t know we would though. Did they send you a pic of your bin before the fest?

I think it was posted to Instagram. I don’t use Instagram, but I think it got posted there and my wife saw it in 2017. The caption said where it had been placed, but caveat that they can end up shuffled about. This one was outside WG on the side by the venue but close to the track.

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
    • Easily my favourite set of the day.
