Who in their right mind pays £6 for a can? Especially with the festival allowing people to bring cans in. Cold crisp pints a different matter but lukewarm cans at a premium is a nonsense.

Exactly. A cold full pint, fair enough. But a scabby can you can bring yourself, no chance!

I bought a round of cans of Carlsberg at Strummerville on the Wednesday last year, after a day of heat and walking up that hill I honestly think it’s the best beer I’ve ever bought because they were ice cold. I agree I’d rather buy a pint but if I’m at a bar and it only had cans I will buy them as I’d take cold over my warm tent beers anyday plus I don’t go back to the tent once I leave and can’t be arsed carrying cans around all day

The cans at Arcadia are always ice cold, whenever I've bought them.

2 quid for a can of water? Surely, water is free on site anyway?

Not really that unreasonable. It says they also do free water at the bottom

Bugger. Was really hoping for Brooklyn Pilsner to be the real deal this year and be readily available. Bollocksed if I'm paying that for a watered down version, will be back to the usual pints in T&C Bar and a San Miguel when I'm passing Bread and Roses.

Actually looks like the cans might be the one for the Brooklyn, 4.6% on that Arcadia pic.

Same for San Miguel though - San remo have always had it too
