Doesn’t matter how old he is. He’s not Trump.

And that's the big problem with america. We got boris because he's not Corbyn and they're getting same old same old instead of trump. Matter of time before they're bombing kids in the middle east again and dragging us with them.

Biden speaking so well here, speaking from the heart. I really fear for his safety in the coming weeks. Trump has stoked up so much hatred with his lies and rhetoric and it will be festering in the minds of the gun toting fanatics.

I feel a bit emotional watching that speech. Biden is the President they need right now.

Think they'll try to remove him? McConnell has had enough, Pence has had enough, obviously Pelosi would be up for it. Who is actually required to sign off on him being a madman that needs to be taken out of office?

There’s not enough time to impeach and convict through the Senate before the 20th.

If anyone remembers it, 24 made it look like it could be done in a couple of hours over video call...

She may we’ll make a valid point, but perhaps the best time for this sort of tweet is not whilst multiple gun toting republican lunatics are in the senate building.

The 25th amendment may be invoked by the VP and a majority vote by the cabinet, thats it. Congress must agree to reverse it afterwards if thats what was needed.

This was going to be used ( in theory ) leading up to the inauguration so pardons could be given out by Pence and orange face goes free afterwards. But as I said a couple days ago the scenario could backfire and Pence does not even give the pardons or gives back power. We are at that crossroads now.

    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
