I wont be surprised when Pence just throws in the towel and ends his own nightmare. He is gonna rake in the money on the speech circuit so he’ll have his money. Nothing to lose now.

They wont be able to get inside of the White House for that. I know the capitol building is one thing but the White House always has heavy security. And remember there are extra walls. add in that theyll probably triple the security they were going to have on inauguration day after this. Nobody will be allowed within a mile of anything thats not supposed to be. If he goes to Mar A Lago before Jan 20th and stays there, no need to throw him out. Hell, The Academy Awards have tougher security than what was on display today.

Few thoughts before going to bed.

- Can’t help but think this is a warm up for Inauguration Day. Nothing is off the table for that now.

- The Dems will be in power for a long time I reckon. The republicans will take years to recover from this.

- Today was singlehandedly one of the worst things I’ve seen in my entire life and I feel like irreversible damage is being done.

its laughable that the national guard is slowly marching out all the idiots and zero tear gas. They were ordered not to touch these people unless they actually provoke and attack somebody . Unless it gets to a point where theyve let them be out there long enough and then just hit em hard.

I hope so... but make sure the national guard are in place first.  I've been reading too much about the last days of the Roman Republic recently to have a great deal of confidence.

The language coming from Pence suggests this might actually be a likelihood I think.
