That was one hell of a speech. In that speech alone Biden showed more leadership than Johnson has throughout the entirety of this crises.

It wasn't the words Biden said but the sincerity behind them.  I am sure he's as much a political animal as the others, but he seems to want to do the right thing.

Very true, it is the way he's saying thing at at the moment too. A complete contrast to Trump!

Could Boris have looked and sounded any more uncomfortable with the Trump questions? Think it took him 20 seconds to splutter out some words at one point.

It's ridiculous of him not to call on Trump to go. By congratulating Biden and Harris he has already implied that Trump is in the wrong.

Yet again - spineless, snivelling, pathetic Tories.

Apparently when Trump had given everyone tax cuts a few years ago it was hidden in the bill that a few years later after the election people would start getting tax hikes apart from the higher tax bracket people. As it comes into affect during Bidens reign he will be getting the blame for poor people getting taxed more.

Jesus. He’s losing it even by his standards. I don’t think it’s quite sunk in to the world what’s happening here and how he’s behaving. It’s absolutely incredible.

Doubt Charlie Brooker is doing a yearly wipe but damn he could do a whole show on this alone!

He did a lockdown one so I'd expect to see something around Christmas!

Not sure replacing the secretary of defence is a great thing - does trump have any foreign ahem "outreach" power in these few weeks?

as defence secretary, the guy who's been sacked refused to deploy US troops on the streets of the USA.

I don't think it takes much guessing what Trump wants the new guy to do. :(

Yep, they’re staging a coup and he’s firing anybody who stands in the way of it.

Obviously this is all gonna amount to nothing and he’ll be flung out of the White House on January 20, but I’m sure it isn’t gonna take much for his base to be sprung in to action on his demand, and possibly armed forces along with them.

    • Hi Everyone!   I need your help. I'm trying work out who was playing at The Wishing Well at 3am on the Monday morning at the 2025 festival - this was once the official setlist had ended. The music was down tempo, bass heavy, kept evolving, just mesmerising. Anyone have any ideas? and/or was there as well?
