Sunak’s true colours have fully come out now. He did a nice job conning the public for a while but his image has slowly unravelled.

Good to see he's being scrutinised and asked the important questions after yesterday's announcement.

I thought Kay Burley would’ve given him a ruff ride at least.

He is very short in real life as well apparently.

We did notice that many 100s of pages ago.

Rishi Sunak - Master of Coin

Boris is obviously Joffrey as he’s a blonde haired 🤬

Who else from GoT suits the current Parliament?

FFS have they learnt nothing? You can be 2m apart indoors but if the time is long enough you'll catch it anyway as it's in the air! Ridiculous

Actually 2m I would say starts to become very difficult when you get anything over 4 people ... and yes it will just linger without windows being open and ventilation

I agree - and all those key workers in the private sector deserve a pay rise too.

Most definitely they should. Sunak was trying to argue that public sector has comparatively gone up by 4% compared to the private sector in the last 6 months. What about 8 years of the last decade when the Tories had a cap in public sector pay, it doesn’t wipe out those 8 years.

It’s also a childish argument to make anyway. “Private sector pay went down so let’s freeze public sector pay just to be fair to the private sector” 🤦‍♂️

Agreed still confused why we aren’t focusing on ventilating. Could be 2m indoors and catch the virus but only 1m + ventilation and not catch it. Of course those figures are just made up but every measure helps to stop the spread. 2m alone in an indoor environment doesn’t really do much as it’s airborne.

I sat in a pub garden for several hours with someone who turned out to have Covid and didn’t catch it. He went for one indoor pint later that day with someone else and DID spread it to them. It’s mental how much difference ventilation makes.

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
