He'll be making allowances for that weren't there at the time. It's one rule for them and another for us.

I'm really not shocked. When I was younger I used to look at supreme leader states and wonder how a country could become this way. I guess I was just naive. All it takes is the right government to come and people become pure bootlickers.

That's it? Boris Johnson really does not give a single damn about any of the public. We've all been made fools of right here by the PM.

Let's hope there's a final blow coming in tomorrow's papers. If so, Boris has fucked himself as well as Cummings.

Entering the next phase of the lockdown means that people can rebel all they like and ‘copy’ what Cummings has done by visiting family/friends, as this will soon be permitted.
If this was back in early April I think it may have been a different story - that says who knows with this circus.

    • Very quiet in here at the moment.....again.   I hate this time as other festivals start and we see who Sziget should've booked 🤣   The Cure knocking it out of the park once again at Primavera showed that they have fans of all ages and, even if it's felt they don't represent the direction Sziget is going in, they would've been a huge draw.   Ditto The XX, who I've never been a massive fan of tbh, but put me in my place at Primavera with a cracking set.
    • Ballots for BST and Roundhay dates on TfG
    • Yeah, I feel like people are really overlooking just how fantastic Simple Minds are. ABC have a classic 80s new wave album behind them as well.   That being said, yeah it's not worth travelling for. But it's a lineup I would be happy with if it were local to me
    • On the Wet Leg crowd - the opening day always has the worst crowd of the festival. A lot of locals show up purely because it's a cheap evening, often with not much interest in the acts performing, so, while the talking is an issue throughout the festival (and increasingly at gigs/fests everywhere) it's particularly rough on the Wednesday every year. I'll only bother next year if I really like the act playing.  The wristband is basically a souvenir these days, which I like, as I keep them. Also I guess for the festival it's kind of cheap advertising as people walk around the city with them on.
