bullie
now the important stuff...will there be metallic foil in the wristbands this year? IMHO the best wristband was 2008 with no scratchy foil and a tasteful colour scheme; I wore mine for a year at the cost of my career in senior management. Can we find an environmental reason to go back to plain fabric?

baggienick68
Oh wow. This is brilliant having a favourite wristband. I think it should be in the ' obsessive one ' thread.

I can understand why a Glastonbury wristband might affect your employability to a senior management position. I don't agree with it, but I can understand why the un-enlightened may feel that way. shuttlep
don't really care what it looks like, But Kylie Gold would be alright I suppose I cut it off when i get in the car park on Monday and throw it away, never to be seen again.
scaryclaireyfairy
The scratchy ones are pretty but I too would prefer a return to the softer plain version. I have mad sensitive skin and the sparkly ones are like sandpaper.
bexj
I just rub some vaseline or moisturiser on the inside and hey presto, no scratchy!
Woffy
Maybe the latest ones are scratchy as some kind of pre-wipe longdrop early buttock scratch warning for those who've had the wristband attached to the wrist of the hand they wipe with. Or maybe not.

Mardy
Yep, normally take it off on the way home Monday. I do keep it, but can’t wait to get it off

Hugh Jass
Do people still wear wristbands long after the festival has ended? I thought that practice went out of fashion years ago. Mine are just cut off and put in a box with all the others when I get home.
Spindles
I keep mine but my days of wearing them past the evening when I get home are long gone.

I seem to remember Reading and Leeds used to give you a free beer if you still had last years band on, back when they were sponsored by Carling. I normally cut it off when I get home and pin it on the cork board in my kitchen.
