IIRC they played with my brother's band once or twice in this era back when they were called Polarbear.  Think I've got a seven inch of Starfighter Pilot kicking around somewhere.

To be fair I didn't realise it was a running joke or whatever, just knew as soon as I saw a thread called Snow Patrol and someone asking where they'd play there'd be a comment from you in there giving a sarcastic answer.

Ooh, do they sometimes play You Could Be Happy live? I love that song, but assumed it'd be an album track they wouldn't play much live.

Was dragged along to see them at Rock Werchter over the summer, was pleasantly surprised to be fair, came across very likeable  would see them again if clash free / I'm not dead on my feet.
