This could cause problems between me and my husband!

We'll probably have to separately enjoy our headliners! 😅

Best way is just going to see who you both want, that way neither of you resent the others taste/choice. I've been to a couple of Headliners on my own and enjoyed a great set. Ideally you both go see who you both like but it can't happen all the time especially with my mrs' taste

Can someone give me a list to give her a fair go? I only know 'shake it off', which is obviously ridiculously catchy.

I've been hammering Getaway Car, Cruel Summer and Red recently. Three absolute bangers right there. Just plough through CalGon's playlist and you'll get a good intro.

I had tickets for Hyde Park but flogged them as soon as I heard they were headlining Glasto. There was nowhere else you’d want to see them.

Agree on this. I’ve been holding off on seeing Macca elsewhere waiting for him to do Glastonbury and I’m absolutely over the moon he is now.

I’ve never seen Kendrick either due to the price more than anything. Really buzzing first time is at Glastonbury for him also.

Can't imagine standing there during All Too Well and thinking "yeah it's good, but damn this would be so much better if she wasn't doing BST next week".

It's not even like BST is before Glastonbury and we're getting their seconds. Glastonbury is so clearly the focus of their UK shows.

Is it a usual thing for the Glasto headliners to also headline BST?

Is it just me or does it make them seem a little less "special"?

Maybe 1 but not sure about 2 in the same year, which makes me think it might not be Kendrick! 🙄

Hot take: I thought their show at the London Stadium two years ago was better than Glastonbury.

Can't comment on the London show, but the Glastonbury show came supplemented with Lisa Fisher, Bobby Keys and Mick Taylor which, as a fan, was something I didn't hate to see.

Different beasts - GF was more about the occasion and sense of history around them finally doing it for me. London they were just fantastic musically.

Could be way off the mark here but was there a thing at one point about a solo Male headliner who hadn’t played before?

Creamfields announced Calvin Harris as a U.K. dance festival exclusive today which is weirdly niche and almost like they’re desperate to claim some kind of exclusive so we know he’s playing somewhere else. Could obviously be TRNSMT, IOW or any other big festival in the U.K. but could it also be Glasto?

    • Alright fair, I thought she only did BST once. Though I do question how that type of pop show will translate to a stadium.
    • yeah, but I enjoy moaning about them too much so whatever I guess.   and besides... a few years from now there will be absolutely nothing on TV except for Coben based shows so I'd best get used to it...   🙂        (for anyone who has ever read a Coben book - are the books as utterly sh*t as the tv shows???)
    • Those in the Glastonbury ‘Tour’ thread buying tickets noticed it when tickets first went on sale.   And if you look at the blocks still on sale here https://www.axs.com/uk/events/1489025/muse-tickets?skin=theo2 blocks 410-414 definitely stand out as the only seating areas without tickets available, so appears that they still haven’t gone on sale.
