zero000
Where do we think they would play, Pyramid headliner or bust? Given Emily's comments yesterday they could potentially fit into her description of the other stage headliners being Pyramid sized.
Matt42
It just depends really. If they are coming back for a political message then all is up for grabs. I think they’d make a fantastic Saturday headliner. So good that it doesn’t even matter that it’s three Americans at the top for the 50th. Skoo
I've been away from efests for a couple of days and come back to see people talking about RATM headlining. Have we all lost our collective minds? I would pee my pants over Rage headlining - but there's no way it could happen...could it?! Someone persuade me please! richarddep
I was at the BBC Introducing event yesterday and watched Emily speak to Jo Whiley. She was genuinely beaming while describing next year's plans (headliners / other stage in particular), so I think it's all on the table. Xeph1995
RATM are the greatest live band of all time, would be a great booking.

Matt42
This has excited me because hearing no Macca made me think that the third headliner could be something totally unexciting. I feel the playing field has just been completely flipped. Let me be excited!
Matt42
Also the Coachella forums have no idea what hit them. Perhaps rage only became available recently - would make sense why Eavis might still be in negotiations with an act. let me dream!

jparx
Rage would be an immense headliner for Glastonbury. They really are one of the best live acts around and would slay the Pyramid field. They seem like a particularly relevant act given the current political and environmental shit show as well. It's possible that he's the 3rd one they're still negotiating with, but that seems unlikely all things considered.
