Assuming that sells out ASAP I suspect they could be pulled in

Guess you’d need someone at the minimum of Foals sizish to replace Post Malone, QOTSA could proplbably be done by Wolf Alice or similar at a push

Yeah doesn't make sense to be headlining reading which is so close to London on the same weekend so it kinda rules them out. Best we can hope for is a Foals secret set

The K’s have 3 festival announcements in 2 days (starting at 6pm tonight) - one to keep an eye on as I think they’ll be added to the lineup - ties in with end of august festivals announcing this week (APE / Victorious)

Kendal and Isle of Wight are both announcing line-ups tomorrow so I'd assume that'll be two of them. So it'll either be Tramlines, YNOT, Truck or R&L announcing tonight at 6 unless there's another festival I've forgotten or a festival like Community (As Community or under a different name perhaps)

Have you seen Wolf Alice’s tour they announced a few days ago? They’re way off headlining R&L.

Yeah as much as I love them, they're nowhere near headline size or even QotSA size. QotSA play arenas, WA have announced a bunch of academys. Hell, Shikari are playing the same size or bigger venues on their next tour as WA and they're nowhere close to hl size.

I do not think the streets would take the r1 slot at R&L if they are headlining Victorious personally I know it won't happen but it would be great if they booked Madness to play. Personally I know it won't happen I'd be buzzing if The 1975 replaced Posty and then BMTH for QOSTA

Same here, incredible band, every night every year would be fine by me

Calvin Harris is one of the most expensive artists to book to come to events- so i doubt we would see him at R&L as a replacement act to be honest.

Bar the controversy I would not be surprised to see Mumford and Sons booked about to start their fifth album cycle and they could finish off the delta era at R&L and I think they would go down well as a booking.

I so agree, with events like the Euros and Olympics happening this summer I can only see that musicians, especially as you say, the bigger acts already on the bill will be fine and can travel to perform.
