I believe there may be one appearing this week with Beans on Toast making a guest appearance...

No pressure @glasto360 😉

yes, we already recorded a chat with beans! It will come out in the coming weeks and it may be our last before the festival 😕 I assure you we wanted to do more.

Thank you all for the suggestions - and please keep them coming!

Some of them we did already back in 2019/20 but stayed in the backlog due to the cancellation and our own hiatus - for example, we did record one with two food traders and also someone suggested here to record a sound bite with someone going for the first time and then another one when they're back, which we also did back then! We may end up using these or redoing it if the previous recordings are not fitting any more as they are both good ideas.

The new episode with Beans on Toast was released yesterday for those who may not have notifications on! We'd love to know what you think!

As always, just search "GlastoCast" on your favourite podcast player!

This will be our last episode before the festival... we're so close to be being back in those fields!

Great episode. Always good to hear from Beans!

Finally catching up with these (couldn't bring myself to listen before the festival as I didn't have a ticket!) to get me hyped for next year and they're a great listen as always. Really love this podcast. Thanks @GlastoCast!

So nice to hear The Thingy too! @Gnomicide I remember when it first came to fruition.

    • Tbf that happened to me in 2022 so not a one off. 40 euros to drive down 3 streets. I'd have done a runner but the reason for getting the taxi in the first place is cos I couldn't walk no more.
    • I was fully prepared (waterproof jacket, extra pair of socks, foldable umbrella), but after four hours in the rain (from Geese through Oklou to Florence Road), it was just too much. Already at the hotel, let's hope tomorrow's better.
    • It’s rare that I watch question time, but I almost felt sorry for Kenyon, he seemed like a guy just brought off the street which effectively is what he was, made worse by the fact Burnham and the Tory guy were very strong debaters. I think Burnham was very aware not to go too hard on Kenyon and risk him getting sympathy, in fact he pretty much ignored him.
    • Shambles. Transport and comms garbage. Been looking forward to this since last June and have never been to a more disorganised festival in 30+ years.  Why we were told the whole festival was cancelled for the night if they had put back shows for a few hours?  Pissed off to say the very least and put a huge downer on the rest of the weekend.
    • Rotten communication. Actually god awful. Posting sporadically on IG, closing Mordor only to reopen and cause some serious carnage. Left the festival as it got too much for my 16year old daughter. She was devastated about Alex G and Mac…but TV girl could have saved it. Took us until 1220 and already home to find out they might/are playing. Pish.    and on another note, this festival has lost its bastard soul. Gone are the wee tents with local sellers selling vinyl, t shirts etc, now you can buy a 50 f**king eur official T-shirt. The ar*e is truely out of this event now. I went to Porto for the first time last year and it was fab. I love Barcelona and the line up is always stacked, but this festival is a corporate loss take. Hopefully a better day tomorrow.
