Shame they didn’t wait, they could have had an entire album’s worth of material out of the last few weeks.

There was in an interview a few weeks ago where they said they'd already started the fourth album because of everything that was going on!

So, do we actually think this is gonna be the new album?

I don't know if it will be the full album but it will linked to it. Album has been done and is out there with some people, has been for a month or so.

I hope they announce how much glue I need to forget the last song ever existed.

Your Joe Calfuckinzaghe. You can do it Dental, yes you can!

Isn’t the greatest work they’ve done is it?

That's not even in the top 10 things I dislike about it. But I'm ready to drop the negativity and embrace what they throw at us tomorrow. If it's back on form then it'll be even sweeter.

What’s with all the hate for the new single? It’s classic IDLES. They’ve always had daft lyrics.

More of a pointless parody of themselves than staying true to form. Essentially kicked the ball to any dissenting voices who say they're just angular guitar riffs + shouted pop culture references + chorus about unity. The frustration is coming from a place of love tho plz understand and hopes are still up for tomorrow - I would like to hear a studio cut of the track @Mouseboy11 posted muchly.

I can't wait for the announcement, I'm so disappointed that I can't see them at Reading this year, I only booked the ticket for RATM so Idles were such a bonus!!

Also I don't think the new song isn't too bad "Like David Attenborough clubbing seal clubbers
With LeBron James" the lyrics make me smirk :)

Surely they will announce they are playing Glastonbury again next year! I think theres more chance for next year with a new album imminent 🎸🎸🎸

It's going to a be a long year if you suspect every radio interview might wield Glastonbury results ahah.

Next album "Ultramano" to be released on September 25, 2020. New track below.

Eh, it’s alright. Was hoping they might bring something new to the table but it’s just a bit of a by the numbers Idles track imo - hopefully not representative of the rest of the album.

    • I decided to goto bed early for the Aussie game rather than stay up for Scotland. I don't regret my decision, I also love the complete over reaction during the world cup when a player has 1 good game, that Watford winger is now everyones dream signing. Its also funny when clubs get into the hype and end up overpaying for someone who then does nothing in the prem.

    • I read the Kerrang review and they didn’t seem overly positive. The definition of a 6 out of 10.
    • Interesting the stat guys say 3 points and -3 goal difference is where it gets to 50/50 territory in terms of going to the last 32. If Scotland lose their last 2 at best they are on -1, play like they did yesterday and they could take a heavy loss.   However thinking about it positively get 4 points from the last 2 games and the group is won! Have heard a few saying Scotland should just park the bus next 2 games, but not sure they have the players to do it. From my perspective they could really do with a decent defensive midfielder to add balance, but not sure if they have one in the squad. They also need significantly more from Mctominay who I thought was poor, but understand he has been unwell.
