Amy Lawn
Good afternoon, fellow comrades. 2018 is withering and dying before our very eyeballs. It's a hopeless case, just leave it to rot. With the sad demise of our current year, it's becoming clear that a new year will be required. I've had a word with the people in charge and they've agreed that in January we should introduce a brand new year which will be referred to as "2019". Catchy title. This means any music released after 31st December will fall into 2019, how exciting! What delights will this bold new year yeild? The much anticipated full length release from Sigrid? Will Stormzy's second LP cement him as a star or make Emily look a right tit? Will Owen Pallet finally release Island? Just how many wigs will Carly Rae Jepsen's next album snatch? Discuss all that and more in this thread. Feels good to create my annual new music thread again after taking a fallow this year.
nikkic
Sharon Van Etten, Blood Red Shoes, Beirut, Drenge, The Flaming Lips, Chems, Kanye, Solange and Vampire Weekend all with new ones in 2019. Good year ahead.
Jericode
Bring Me The Horizon is the big early one isn't it? Only album I know I'm waiting for is Set It Off in February. Hoping for new Neck Deep and Roam.
Gucci Piggy
In terms of properly announced albums with release dates I'm looking forward to LUH, Sharon Van Etten and The 1975. In terms of announced albums without release dates I'm looking forward to Kanye West, Stormzy and Vampire Weekend. Other than that I'm not sure who we're expecting to release next year. A new Kendrick album would obviously be a highlight, so hopefully that happens. Thom Yorke is working on a proper album, isn't he? That'll be nice. Maybe a new National album? We know they've got a decent amount of new music already. Maybe we'll get this new MBV music that's been spoken of. Oh, there's also supposed to be a new Tame Impala album, isn't there? Can't be bothered to think of any more.

Forgot about Skinny Lister, that should be decent. Also forgot about the new One OK Rock album, if Ambitions was anything to go by I'm going to love that when it comes out. justanothername
Was kind of dreading a new album by them but this is actually decent. Better than anything on LP2 so I'm bit more hopeful now.
