Its a great shout that. But somertimes you have to do it the other way. For personal reasons I found out in my late 20's there is more to life than work. Still ended up doing overtime etc. Sometime you just have to.

Work to live not live to work.

Yup. I factored in everything.

Currently right now extra en though everything always falls back to why leaving was the best idea....the process of it has put me into such a depressive state of mind over it I'm stuck in between depressed I'm both leaving and staying. It's hard to explain.

Two Door Cinema Club appear to be teasing an announcement of a London O2 gig on Instagram, with a video of one of them at the O2 and a tagline of an announcement at 9am tomorrow.

Heard a rumour this might be the start of a full tour at the start of next year with Arkayla supporting. Believe this is their first major tour since 2023 and then was a mix of academies/smaller arenas so not surprised to see them take the jump to a full arena tour now.

I'm a bit peeved Circa Waves aren't doing the Belfast date. Would much prefer to see Two Door in Ireland, but as an unironically massive fan of Circa Waves (yes, we actually exist!), might have to do Manchester instead.

I would presume SOAD set times at Tottenham will be very similar to Stockholm.

Looks like they are doing 1.5 hours. QOTSA start 7:30pm. I was expect SOAD to play a bit longer.

Looking forward to seeing what the set list is for Stockholm

1.5 hours is roughly what they did for Mexico having looked at it.

Finishing by 10.30pm gives me half a chance of catching my train back to Kent so I'd take that

It means I can train out later, if QOTSA aren't on until 7:30 as acid bath don't interest me.

Same here.  It's still a 2.5hr journey from where I am and there's a minor inconvenience called work that needs taking into consideration too.

I also have a work experience lad in with me on the day of the gig so can't disappear too early.  Thankfully he's my son who's coming to the gig with me 😉

Did you pick that up from that Gavin bloke? Would love to have some double proof on that. His sources have been wrong before. If he acutally has any and isn‘t just reading efests.

    • Pressure will be shifted to Israel, but don't think anything is going to happen this side of the election.
    • It's encouraging news, but Israel's withdrawal from Gaza will very much depend on how credible Hamas's commitment to completely disarm is.   In my view they are right to be skeptical.
    • Now we’ll see if Israel are actually capable of winding their necks in    I doubt it
    • Policing is very relaxed, provided you stay within your lines I'd say. I don't think we're supposed to have an event shelter as well as a tent next to our van, but we've done it without issue for years. It's a happy vibe up there.
    • Do feel a lot more cynical about the Mercury now. Given the awards show is now an arena event, there's clearly a pressure on them to nominate mainstream acts in order to sell tickets for it. And not saying that Jade and Knats don't deserve to be nominated (haven't listened to either), but the fact the event is in Newcastle can't have nothing to do with that... (not to mention Fender winning last year, which frankly was a joke)    Hard not to agree with this: https://www.clashmusic.com/features/this-years-mercury-prize-is-a-pivot-towards-the-mainstream/
