Think it's a real shame that Noel couldn't have turned up to prove that antagonistic feelings could be overcome.  LG has been the disappointment of the night for that reason alone.

They might have discussed it and agreed Noel making an appearance would have fucked with Liam's nascent solo career pretty badly.

Absolutely, but isn't that putting money/ego/ areer before far, far more important things?  They could've proved a point and an important one right now imo.

Been glued to my Tv watching this concert. I've danced, cried, laughed and felt an awesome feeling of uncynical love. One Love indeed x

    • Ok, ok, I have done it! Not because of limitless upvoats but to support the Efestivals site.
    • She was/is 100% in the mix, but I don't know specific timings and how it relates to that interview. They've clearly gone after her, again.   It could be read in a number of ways - she was in negotiations at that point, she was talking about BST (and he's interpreted it, as we have, as Glastonbury). Who knows
    • So sad to see the news that John Douglas of the Trashcan Sinatras has died. They only released their latest album last week and it is wonderful.  So underrated and a member of such a great long running band that have meant so much to me over the last 40 years. https://trashcansinatras.com/blogs/news/john-douglas-1963-2026
    • listening to jamie east's podcast earlier he said that he'd heard fender is confirmed, and that as of 2 weeks ago Madonna hadn't been approached.
    • which would make that Graham Norton interview nonsense .... although obviously things change
