Factory Floor > Paranoid London absolutely fucking loud

Brilliant

Whack in the middle of the day aye, given Sasha and Digweed are on at headliner time.

Been giving the London Elektricity Big Band live album a listen. Oh my.  That's my Sunday afternoon dancing sorted; Ska Vengers followed by these boys!

Both sound promising. Will give them a whirl.

Some terrible news for some people....

EDIT: I've just noticed this actually came out on Wednesday.

Was gutted to have to miss Factory Floor so this is a bit of a relief, but a massive shiter for others I'm sure.

They really really need to give up on that surround sound experimental thing. IT DOESN"T WORK. During Sasha and Digweed for example you had to be in the front half of the whole venue otherwise you could hear the back speakers delayed by 4 seconds. A total head fuck.

Also the kick drum sound in the left speaker is way too bassy (not sure of the technical term) but it almost ruined an incredible set. Luckily I managed to find a suitable spot but it took a good 30 mins (front right)

    • Tbf that happened to me in 2022 so not a one off. 40 euros to drive down 3 streets. I'd have done a runner but the reason for getting the taxi in the first place is cos I couldn't walk no more.
