But look at this list of festival shows she has played and bear in mind she could have headlined any major festival in the world, every year since 2012... Obviously it doesn't make it impossible but I think it makes it highly unlikely. Of course people will throw her name into the mix and suggest it's possible though. Believe me, I'd love it to happen.

Me neither but apparently so (and in some very Glasto prominent company as well)...

That was the weekend they imploded. They only did one of those two nights and never played together again.

Very true and the last 2 on that list were both part of the tour. BST was her only UK date in 2015. 

She played mid-afternoon at V and only done a handful of songs

True, but had that happened we might be looking at Mumford and Banjos, Postman Malone, DJ Calvin or David Guetta on Pymild in 4 months.

I remember watching (on TV) Taylor Swift at the V Festival a few years ago.  Even back then it seemed surprising she had such a low billing.

Her performance felt really stripped down and kind of unimpressive.  I'm not particularly familiar with her stage show, but I'd hope a headlining set would have a lot more going on.  Unless she plays a lower slot like she did at V.  But why would she bother doing that?

Blimey, was The Streets stock that low in 2009? Although they did use to take tent slots preferrably over outdoor a lot of the time

Yeah it’s definitely true that if she wanted to she could have headlined so many festivals. 

No matter what (like Lady Gaga) I think she’l remain a requested act on these boards almost indefinitely. She may be one of these acts that we ask for but never does it.

Was that 2009? Same year she did mid-afternoon/early evening on the Other Stage.

She was one of my highlights of the weekend.

If you're a fan, then yes 100%. I went to the gig in Manchester at the Etihad but it was great to watch it on film and see all the close up moments that can get lost in such huge stadiums.

It's a big old spectacle, but - like the shows themselves - the setlist is way too reliant on a shonky album.

I finally got round to watching A Star Is Born last night, and for that reason alone I'm jumping aboard the Gaga train again. Would love for her to be a surprise booking. What a voice and performer. And what a spectacle a headline show would be.
