So to sum up what twitter lady has said, in short.. Macca has pulled out, for reasons unknown. A solo artist, gender tbc, has been approached but as of yet.. not confirmed

And that she’ll be surprised if said act does it anyway!

Nick Cave a possibility? He was incredible over the summer festivals last year

Be interesting to see how tickets sell next year if it's Stormzy Nick Cave and The Cure.

If Macca is out then it's Arctics or Mumford. It's not going to be that exciting.

That bits also confusing me, she's talking about the act like it's someone you'd never associate with a Glastonbury headline act. If that's the case and the offer came his or her way, surely he or her would jump at the chance?

Unless it’s an act that’s big enough but doesn’t usually play festivals.

I’d guess it’s someone like a Swift/Grande.

    • Rod Liddle has died. RIP.
    • Tickets on sale from 17th August but there is a special autobuy feature from 10th August- you log what you want to buy and then forget about it apparently.
    • Took my now 12 year old to old Trafford couple of years ago, for his 1st game. He fell asleep during the game, no replies needed. 😃   He is also a Wolves fan, my parenting skills are as good as Onana's goalkeeping skills.
    • A few snaps from Sunday, which was huge fun, plus Happy Mondays, Radio Free Alice, Fratellis and Pale Waves. We didn't stay for The Streets, as after 3-4 songs it felt so downbeat compared to the rest of the day, and i've got another hectic week at work incoming.
    • It was fine, just hectic! The youngsters were mostly very well-behaved. The weather was a real bonus, although surprisingly chilly evenings - I guess it's the altitude - and the area between sound and main stage was a massive dust bowl.
