Didn't work for me (my sig said Radiohead for 2016 for about 18 months)

If offer the Legends spot he would jump at it.
White Bear
I know he headlined West Holts a few years ago, but do you think Bryan Ferry would be considered for it?

CaledonianGonzo
With the benefit of hindsight I'd have probably preferred seeing Ferry to what I actually chose (Metallica).
CaledonianGonzo
Easy come easy go. Metallica was a new experience - Mogwai seem to show up round here ~ once a month on average.
tevaburger
i'd love to run into Lars Ulrich and tell him that i left before they finished to go catch Mogwai for 30 mins up at The Park. Mogwai seem to cancel shows in NYC...visa issues or something...once a year on average

Andy0808 v5
When are they booking Santana? More appropriate for the Saturday afternoon a la Bacharach as it's not as popular. Would be good.
CaledonianGonzo
West Holts headline slot for Carlos and the lads.
mcshed
John Fogarty would smash the legend's slot. Loads of tunes everyone knows, Eavis is a fan, sounds perfect to me. Edited July 8, 2016 by mcshed

Can't imagine a slot on the Pyramid being half as good as that was.

Odessa
If the Spice Girls reunion happens would they be likely to take this slot, or are they too young?

So presumably they need a top up on the finances. Oh and agreed - can't see them ever being at Glasto at all.

Is he? Bigger than Paul Simon in the UK? He's one of those artists that's a much bigger deal in the states than here. Look at the difference between the UK and US singles. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Petty_discography He's certainly old enough for the legend slot. CaledonianGonzo
He's a difficult one to place, the Petty. I dunno where they would ever put him if he plays. He's kind of at sub level, but they almost never have those sort of heritage acts in that sort of slot, Leonard Cohen excepted.
