Was listening to the James Blake album, broke it off having seen your post above, this Kevin Morvby album is delightful! Excellent work Ben! Another reason why these boards are so good!

Agreed - get so many good tips on here.

Today, however, balance has been returned to the Force and I am knee deep in James Blake appreciation. One of the smaller stages will have to do something special to keep me away from WH on Saturday now (e.g. the nightmare clash of Explosions in the Sky on Park when, I'm afraid, the Texans win).

prefer the album mix to this one, but if this means she's gonna start playing California live then i'm all for it. keep totally forgetting about her being on the lineup tbh Beck > Grimes > LCD Soundsystem for the Sunday night thnx

Album mix is definitely better for me as well. She's not a Glastonbury priority because she's pretty much my main event for Latitude, but if I get to see her set without sacrificing something else then I'll be very happy. And may I correct you there FF by saying Kamasi Washington > Beck > Grimes > LCD Soundsystem (although isn't Beck Saturday?).

knew there was another important act on the Sunday. what a great run that would be! and nope Beck can't do Saturday so is either Friday or Sunday (although Sunday looking more likely i think)

As PJ Harvey must be 3rd down if LCD Soundsystem are Saturday, I hope Beck either subs the Pyramid above Ellie Goulding or plays Friday above ZZ Top to avoid that clash.

Although, having just opened last year'so clashfinder to check this, if the times are the same this year it seems a 3rd down Beck would end just as Peej starts, and a subbing Beck would overlap with her by 15 mins.

So it looks like Beck would have to be Friday to avoid that clash. Hopefully St. Etienne's ELO 3rd down info is correct and Beck is Friday. Although this would just leave ELO in the same situation. Ffs. Guess I'll just have to leave one of them early to catch the start of Peej (and would probably rather it's Beck that I have to leave early).

Thinking there are very few must see acts there this year so i need to do more homework and get a few more cds for the car.  Struggling to know where to start though, perhaps stick a pin into my lap top and hope the result isnt too dancey!

New album of the day (well new to me anyway) - band of horses - cease to begin

4 songs in and its lovely :)

I've been aware of BOH for years but never digged too deep - but been doing some pre-G listening and you are right, this and Infinite Arms are absolute belters!

If you haven't already, give Everything All the Time a spin. My favourite album of theirs.

Band Of Horses still play a vast amount of songs from their early albums which is good as I didn't get on with the last one. I'll definitely watch them if they don't clash with one of my must sees!

Infinite Arms is my favourite. Less grandiose than the first two, but a little more melodic.

Has anything been said about what stage they're likely to play? Other seems likely I would have thought but I would prefer them elsewhere, ie The Park.

Reckon they'll be mid-Other myself but they could comfortably fit on JP and Park too. Love those first two albums but really don't like the other two

Lemons are appearing all around manchester. New Roses material looks imminent.

Mani apparently told somebody that two new songs were being released this week so looks like that could well be true. Very interested to hear what a 2016 Stone Roses sound like
