philipsteak
I think Dreadzone. Did they play in 1995? Sure it was them

giantkatestacks
Long may it stay that way, mate. They are the UFO obsessed techno offshoot of Ozric Tentacles. I'll just let the horror of that combination of words sink inOi Mardy, let's not have a falling out. Our lot used to love them, and Ozrics too. What more could you want than half a microdot inside you and the prospect of one of those bands hey? If this attempt at quoting doesn't happen then there will be blood. ancient_one
Well, I was certain it was Seasick Steve, in the Left Field tent, Thursday night, 2007. But according to my diary I had seen Kid Harpoon in there earlier that afternoon. Sorry Kid, but I don't remember that...

eastynh
First set I seen was Nicky Blackmarket in London Underground last year.First live performance was The Freestylers in the Glade.
Mollyanne&Mike
Think it was Hobo Jones and the Junk Yard Dogs in Avalon as I was heading towards the Greenfields. Make an effort to see them, or sit outside and listen each year they play now.
rumpola
The first thing I remember was watching the world mixing champion with the world rap free styling champion in the dance tent in 99. Absolutely no idea what they were called. To be fair, my memory is fucking shit though so could've been someone before that.

Matt - Ed Banger Records
I went in '94 but I don't remember anyone that I was taken to by my parents apart from Sharon Shannon in one of the tents? The first act I remember actually making an effort to go and watch of my own free will was Finley Quaye in '98 - the 13 year old me enjoyed him a lot at the time. eFestivals
as far as I can remember it was The Cure in 1986 .... tho it's quite possible it was something else. I know I saw The Cure and Psychedelic Furs that year and a reggae band (either Aswad, or Misty In Roots, I think), but that's about as far as memory of bands goes. mickeyboymel
Two Door Cinema Club opening The Pyramid 2011 - I'm not counting Kesha the evening before as I was one of the hundreds running out of the tent!!!!
MrHew
I can't be sure but the first I can remember seeing was Senser on the Pyramid Stage in 95.
Chimps in Balaclavas
Easy to confuse the two. One covered 'Aint no sunshine' the other covered 'Dancing in the moonlight'. So yeah, I'll go with that rather than the alcohol excuse.

the beadle
Roy Harper 1982 and he went on and on and on. Strange because I'd seen him quite a few times and he was never less than great, so it might have been me.

KernowKrusty
1997, Echo & The Bunnymen. I was a bit moist (Weather, not excitement). Fantastic weekend. Came home barefoot as my converse boots got stuck in the mud.
