I like the Glasgow crowd as its what I've grown up with, but there are some amount of dafties up this way, that can really ruin some things that would be otherwise brilliant IE T in the Park, which is now over run with school leavers more interested in sitting in a campsite getting full of if, than watching any music 

Ive been to a fair few things in London and can't say I had any problem with the crowds there at all.

Yeah, especially with Gore out. Deftones and Tool would be a night to remember. We'll have to settle for Radiohead subbing on the pyramid instead...!

Pretty much a  year ago to the day….

It’s an official release, but was done as Ltd release thing so isn’t really much more than bootleg.  As with the gig itself the orchestra is mixed really low throughout, though it gets better as it goes on.

My copy was meant to be signed but wasn’t and arrived soaked in water.  The company ignored my emails about a replacement, so I'd advise against giving them any cash.  Let us know...

As a northerner who's lived in London for 4 years, I think the perceived problem with London crowds is due to them having to play a bigger venue. For example, Unknown Mortal Orchestra on their last tour played the Brudenell in Leeds, with a capacity around 250, then the Shepherd's Bush Empire, with a capacity of I think 2000? The smaller northern gigs are always gonna be better.

That was basically half of Manchester upping sticks and coming down to North London for the weekend though.

Cardiff. I went to a Stereophonics gig two years ago (I know, I know, the ticket was free from my old boss who couldn't go) and as they struck up with bartender and the thief, the penultimate track, I was struck on the shoulder by a full cup of piss. Splashed right up the left hand side of my face. The person I was with at the time brushed it off and said, that's nothing, try going to an oasis gig, you take samples from your face and alternate between the tastes of lager and piss.

God i hate it. Saw noel gallagher at clapham common last year and cups of piss were frequently lobbed in every direction. The type of brain-dead simpletons his concerts seem to attract infuriates me.

maybe in the UK. i've seen him/Oasis a few times in Ireland and never seen any cups of piss. can't imagine it happens much in Europe/elsewhere either.

the only gig I've ever experienced it was seeing them in the City of Manchester stadium in 2005.

At the Roses at Finsbury Park a few years a go I was on the barrier and cup of piss was thrown and landed right on my head, luckily it landed straight on my head and I didn't get any piss on me but the security were pissing themselves. It fecking hurt as well

Was it this one? https://concertlive.com/album/live-2015 looks like they've only CDs mind, dunno if you had a vinyl originally?

I took a cup of piss to the head at a Radiohead gig in Edinburgh. The front barrier began to cave in too.  I'm old now.  I like London gigs.

mostly I'm rejecting what that call was saying, on the basis of other things said to me.

At the mo I'm pretty fixed on the idea they're before Adele for a few reasons, with a large one being that no one has a clue who is playing there and that it appears to be a closely guarded secret.

So ... anyone want to try and throw me off that, by saying who'll be playing that slot?

In terms of them being an announced part of the lineup, I think it's before Adele or nothing. One of the main things that makes it a possibility is that we've had no strong information linking anyone at all with that slot. Given how elusive RH are with information (and all the other factors we've all mentioned), they would fit that slot nicely. 

I don't see them headlining the Other stage at all. We have 4 acts already linked to headline that stage, Radiohead would be the 5th, so the odds are just stacked way against it. There's no way they would agree to play before Coldplay or Muse. And clearly, they couldn't headline a stage smaller than the Other because it'd be a bit of a disaster. 

So I think it's either as a secret act before Adele or announced before Adele, a secret slot on a smaller stage, or nothing at all.
