Friday

I think the 6 pyramid acts you listed could very well be correct, possibly the only changes for me would be moving Foals to Saturday and Sande to Sunday.

Radiohead on the other..... Come on now

Animal Collective seem like a decent shout to play but has there been a repeat Park headliner before?

Anyway, dentalplan's prediction is pretty similar (and probably better) to mine

P: Joanna Newsom, Daughter, Action Bronson

SAT

O: New Order, Bastille, Metronomy, Jess Glynne, Wild Beasts, Slaves, Temples
JP: Haim, Editors, Band of Skulls, The Hives
P: Guy Garvey, Beach House, Unknown Mortal Orchestra

SUN
P: Coldplay, Ellie Goulding, Beck, ELO, Ella Eyre

As others, I don't see FM being Friday night. Your Pyramid subs are pretty much the same as mine. I don't think TDCC will be as low as 4th, if they were then OFAM won't be, way smaller, I have TDCC, Tame Impala and Y&Ys to sub Other, but I do agree that Bastille is a very good shout for that slot in which case I would probably move Tame to Pyramid. Wolf Alice, Bloc Party and Y&Ys is a great run. I don't see New Order heading Other, subbing yes but a few years ago Neil said they were offered slots at festivals 4th down a main stage so I don't think they'd suddenly be sub. I'm just about with New Order on JP, with Editors heading as well, strong booking if they sub but I do think it's possible. You would have to say Beck has a decent chance.

No not yet but - not just idealism - I can't see another stage/place for them.

And to be honest I probably prefer yours as it has a load of acts I'd not thought about like The Hives, Wild Beasts, White Lies. But, talking of The Hives, I was gonna add an addendum that The Offspring play the 'The Hives slot' after the disappointing special guests.

Yeah that's true, the only other thought I had for them was subbing West Holts but not sure how well suited they would be for that.

The Offspring would be ace, I'm not sure I see them at Download again yet. LB are actually the only band I can see in the Hellfest lineup from this year to play R&L but maybe a LB style NME header with dance closer.

What apocalyptically messed up craziness would possess you to put the goddess that is Joanna Newsom fifth down on Pyramid, you crazy fool?

1. She's a headliner - Park, obvs.

2. The great unwashed of the Pyramid are entirely undeserving of her magnificence.

Other than that, as you were.

It'd be a fantastic setting and a longer set, but Caley G pointed out that external noise would creep in and hamper the atmosphere at the Park and I find myself agreeing with that. Would be happy to see her anywhere though.
