IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EXISTING REGISTRANTS

 

Photo technology has improved significantly since 2007, when the ticket registration system was first introduced. In order to maintain the quality of registration photos on tickets, and to uphold the security of the Festival ticketing system, any registrations submitted prior to 2010 have been deleted. All registrants affected by this will be contacted via email.

 

Anyone with a registration submitted prior to 2010 will therefore need to re-register before they can purchase tickets for the 2016 Festival (unless they already have a valid registration from a later year).

 

If you registered prior to 2010 and intend to buy tickets for the 2016 Festival, please check to see if you have any valid registrations here or submit a fresh registration here.

 

Mine seems to have been deleted and I haven't had an email from them (yet).

hehehe, just got an email. 11 different registrations on my email are now invalid.

it shows my registrations as valid but im sure they were pre 2010 , any ideas anyone ?

To be fair, until a few years ago, registrations were supposed to be automatically deleted after a certain amount of time anyway

My most recent registration was on 21st Sep 2010, and says:

You have been successful in registering to book tickets for Glastonbury 2011.

Your registration number is (removed)

Your registration is valid up to 31st July 2013

So given that registration is still valid, and they've never asked me if I want to extend it, a database cleanup is probably overdue.

Just had to re- register as had email advising of deletion- it was my lucky reg number so hope this doesn't jinx ticket day!

Thanks Sir Robin, just had the email and wasn't sure if it was legit - my reg is no longer valid and my wife's is OK. We registered at the same time so slightly odd...

I've not had an email, just checked my reg after seeing this thread, and it seems to have been deleted.

Just imagine getting to t-day without realising your registration has been deleted! I'd be fuming!

Need to trawl through my (now mainly junk) email account but i have the same picture as I did in 2007 but a different reg number.

 

To be fair, I don't actually look much like my '07 picture any more but I'm worried that it's become my lucky charm?!

 My Reg was pre 2010 BUT not received an email............ so i checked and reg no NOT valid  !!!!!!! I can see a few people getting caught out by this

Glad someone has flagged this up, I haven't had an email either. I probably need to get it changed. I'm not longer a scruffy 17 year old with long hair. I'm 24, with a job and responsibilities.

I haven't had emai, registered 2007 checked it with the see checker - still registered and Mail said still valid for buying?!?

Didn't get the email but checked my reg no and it's still valid,from 2008.

I have moved a few times since then so updated the address,maybe that's why it's still valid.

Not sure about mine but it needs updating anyway. From 14 to 24 i had long curly hair but recently I've had it chopped off and i got extra long checks at the gates and told to update it.

Mines still valid but it's definitely pre 2010. Weird. I'll be checking it a few times between now and October I think.

It would "appear" that if you have a pre 2010 reg but have updated it since 2010 IE change of address/email address, then it has not been deleted.
