I've only heard a little bit of Martin Courtney's solo record...it sounded like rather insipid, watered-down Real Estate...amd I really like Real Estate. A little bit too bed-wetting for me...

Agree that RE unlikely at festivals this summer, especially as they did them in summer 2014 (caught the end of their set at Green Man).

Ben

I saw them at Dot to Dot in Bristol, lovely performance in Trinity.

I would quite like The Penelopes to pop up somewhere. Saw them supporting The Human League a few years ago and got well into them. They have new material out this year apparently.

Icelandic rock n rollers Kaleo

Enjoyed that, suitable for WH if Vintage Trouble are anything to go by.

I'm kind of hoping that Haelos will play John Peel stage (suspect they will work better inside than outside, in a London Grammar style)

Peace
Wolf Alice
Catfish and the Bottlemen
Slaves
The Districts
The 1975
Swim Deep
Last Shadow Puppets
FIDLAR
The Courteeners
Blur
Elvis Costello

Among many others I can't think of right now. Some of those a long shot, others quite likely I hope.

Artists that had albums out last year that I'd like to see and, as far as I know, would be available ;

Siskiyou (Doing Primavera earlier in June so could be available)
Wolf Alice (yah, I know. I missed them but got tix booked for their current tour)
Daughter
King Giz (thought they were a great Glasto fit and should play every year)
Miley doing Petz
Titus Andronicus
Ought
Jape
Modest Mouse
Ghost Culture

Oh and Television would be nice. They are about.

add Kamasi Washington to my list. if Kendrick is playing (which fingers crossed he is) he can guest with him as well as doing his own set on the Pyramid/West Holts earlier in the day

Yes, he would be amazing, hopefully Thundercat liked what he saw this year and will come back for his own set as well as with Kendrick.

I live in sincere hope and fear that Tame Impala don't chose to headliner or play high up a smaller festival and don't show at glasto

but yes, it's a yes to everyone in that list, if even half of them are there, it'll be another year to remember

The act I would love to see (almost certain not to happen) is Oasis. I live in hope that one day I get to see them live, and Glastonbury would be the perfect place for me to see them.

Other acts I'd like to see there are:

Pendulum (saw them about 5 years ago at another festival and they were incredible)
The 1975
CHVRCHES
Bears Den
Sigma
Hozier (Only managed to catch the end of his set in 2015)
Coldplay (seems like I'm likely to get this wish!)
Imagine Dragons (loved them in 2014, not sure how likely it is they'll return so soon though)
Train
Ed Sheeran
Years & Years
