Amy Lawn
Well down? Check again.... Billed halfway down Latitude's main stage last year. Their only headliner this year who is also playing Glastonbury are Alt-J, they're 3rd down Glastonbury's main stage. Halfway down at Latitude is halfway down The Other. I love James, and know how great they are live, but they obviously aren't a headliner.
Woffy
Can Ash be slotted in somewhere? I don't care if they headline although I did dinghy Stevie Wonder in 2010 I will pay my ticket money twice over to see you dinghy Stevie Wonder again! Superscally
Would be decent if we got QOTSA with Dave on drums... How are you proposing he plays them? With his face?
the wonderwhy
Yeah just to be clear I don't think QOTSA is actually going to happen. I just like making every single thread about them.
blackred
If they replace foods which for us rockier stuff fans was gonna be one of the highlights of the fest with pop divas like Taylor or Florence it won't be amusing.......promote Motörhead to headliners they more then know how to do it and they DEFINETLY have enough material! Enter Shikari bump from the JP...
jonodillieono
Last year at Wireless Drake pulled out so Kanye West (who was already one of the headliners) filled in and headlined two nights. I reckon he should do that again this year at Glastonbury. 1) because the uproar would be one of the funniest things I've seen in years 2) I'll be able to see both Kanye and Deadmau5 yay
willutalk
Nine Inch Nails? A good bit of the elusive Trent Reznor.

In the absence of Blur/Prince this would be an unbeatable solution.
The Placid Casual
Couldn't give a toss for Kanye yay or nay but 2 nights of the same act would be just an awful booking decision. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!

justanothername
I'd love it to be The Dillinger Escape Plan and just watch them put on the most insane set the Pyramid has ever seen

willutalk
Now that would be awesome....or though I think the show nin put on would require a fair bit more then 10 days to prepare I think that a NIN show does take about 5 weeks to prepare but the output is usually sublime. This is what I fear for the strength and depth of the headline slot on Friday. Will the band filling in really be able to reach their potential? The answer is probably not isn't it.
