Ok to do this on Windows.

Download "Lively Windows" from the Microsoft store.

https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/lively-wallpaper/9NTM2QC6QWS7?hl=en-us&gl=US

Once downloaded "Add wallpaper" up at the top.

Paste "https://open-developments.co.uk/glastoCam/"

Give it a minute to load. Click on the Glasto webcam

Done.

You can close the Lively windows app then.

Thanks, this is amazing and, unlike your weather advice, genuinely useful. 😂

19th June is the scheduled end date for them unless they are staying for take down

Presumably though, that's for all of the core infrastructure rather than just the super fence which will need to be finished well ahead of that.

Obviously once the super fence is done, they've still got most of the other fences and trackway to do.

I saw folks talking about widescreen options a bit earlier up the feed, I've just found an open source Mac app called Plash that displays websites on your desktop so thought I would share with ya 🙂 I used the https://open-developments.co.uk/glastoCam/ link for the site and it works well!!!

100% getting no work done now 🤦‍♂️

Just found out the hard way it requires 11.5 or later, and i'd put off updating my mac for so long! Needs must though...

My friend has one of those Samsung 49" beasts that costs about a grand that he bought for gaming, yours looks very similar.

Have you got 3 french hunting knives underneath it?

Yeah its a Samsung screen but in an Eltectriq case, I loves it! and yeah that is three Opinels🤦‍♂️ I always get them from France when I go biking or snowboarding...even though they are just glorified letter/package openers most of the time!!

The only sensible option would be for Claire’s partner to build an undetectable but critical area of weakness into the fence to allow access to the site

Of course due to the high security he’d need to entrust the plans into the care of a utility droid to get them off site and into the hands of the eFests rebel alliance. But those are minor details.

Oh are you still allowed to bring knives back, like in the glory days of school trips with flick knives and french bangers?

    • Yesterday was another brilliant day of music for me. Some highlights:  My Bloody Valentine - absolutely loved it! Maybe my main festival highlight. I felt submerged in the music with all the layers and distortion. It becomes hypnotic almost as it progresses. Not as loud as some thought it might be, but it didn’t need to be. The visuals added a lot too. During the noise part of You Made me Realise, I was basically in a trance staring at the visual tunnel or whatever it was on screen. Amazing experience. Little Simz - as she mentioned at the start, you’re guaranteed a good time with her. Great performance just like in 2022. Zero complaints. The little DJ section wasn't something I expected but was cool. Kneecap - I had a blast but at this point in the night I was at my most intoxicated let's say, so I don’t remember it as clearly as I'd have liked to!    The xx - The sound for this was perfectly balanced (at least where I was) and the band were great. Lots of talkers, but with the crowd size and being kind of far back, it's to be expected. Intro was one of my favourite moments this year. Big Thief - really good live performers. The lead singer has a lovely voice. This was a nice chill way to kick off the mordor gigs for me.
    • I've been attending Primavera every year since my first one in 2017 & it's always been my favourite week of the year, but I think things have changed.   Firstly, the site just feels too busy in this current set-up. I'm sure it was a lot easier back in 2017-19 to get between the stages & then a good spot for the next one, but now you increasingly have to sacrifice parts of a set or miss them out completely to plan for later on. I wish we still had the Bits area over the bridge to spread everyone out.   But the main issue is the talking, it's always been here but this year it's been relentless & I just can't tolerate it any more. It's at every stage, and everywhere from the front to the back, there is no escape. Not focusing on nationalities, but a major dynamic now seems to be groups of people who are only focusing on their own good time & aren't interested if this affects anyone else. It seems essential that all members of the group are together at the same time, so it's people making telephone calls, people on shoulders waving phone torches, people barging through. It's alright, I'm only trying to watch The Cure here.   I will have a year away to think about it. I thought might give up completely but yesterday was a bit of a classic day after two unenjoyable ones. Adding Olivia Rodrigo to Baxter Dury, Gelli Haha, The XX, Gorillaz & Kneecap shows how good it can be, but as with everything, it's always the people that have the biggest impact.
    • Beartooth? Or are they a bit to shouty shouty
    • May   1. Josiah and The Bonnevilles - As Is 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia’s Been Good To Me 3. The Coral - 388
    • That would be my dream trio based on bands that have been rumoured
