I know we’ve had an enforced break so it makes sense to test the Pyramid cover early, but it keeps getting dressed earlier anyway. I don’t think it needs to be dressed this early (although I guess they’ve got to start somewhere) but do you think there is an aspect of getting it dressed early to bring the awareness up?

They might be just as excited as we are and want to crack on to get it looking good.

Pointy Mcpoint Face’s hat is on so she’s now fully dressed.

Pointy McPoint Face’s Hat is an inspired choice for an Efestivals user name.. Mind if I take it?

I can confirm that the long drops around block 9 do still clang

Excellent news, I deliberately used them at worthy pastures last summer rather than the more luxurious composters just to hear the clanging and sniff the disinfectant. Memories are made of this,

clays or pangea removal ? place your bets now .... we had heard the latter might be happening this week

Had we? I missed that. Have they said anything that gives us cause to believe the crane is going before the festival?

yeah we are 98% confident the spider is happening now  .... seems to be lots backing that up ...... it was also posted that Pangea would possibly be going this week .... no reason they would keep it up now its more when than if

    • I don't think they are too big for Castlefield these days. They've not had a new album for almost a decade and they like playing smaller venues. Maybe multiple nights is another option as they do like residencies
    • Second half of next week I would expect for stage times.
    • made a last minute decision to go to Belladrum festival.   it was absolutely wonderful.   never been before, to be honest I think I was expecting a stage in a field and a burger van, but its nothing at all like that.   the site is beautiful, its small enough to get around, but big enough that there are things to discover round each corner, there are a good number of small stages tucked away.   you could quite easily convince yourself you were in Glastonbury in places.   I may have only been one time, but already learned a valuable lesson - the site itself may be Glastonbury like, but the "general camping" campsite is very much Reading like! as the morning mist rises... its a view like the Do Lung Bridge scene in Apocalypse Now...   so if you are not 15 years old, go to family or quiet camping which is fantastic.   its a real family friendly festival to - loads of families and kids of all ages running round and stuff for them to do.   I would 100% recommend it, and I really can't see any reason why I wont be going back next year!   🙂
