Those must have been taken a while ago.  The side is on the other stage

But the last bloody hat on the other wasn’t then and still isn’t and I am actually fuming about it now. It’s getting ridiculous, I’ve got other things I should be doing

I have been tracking the build this year, however i will not be going which is a shame. I have always wondered why this year the screens frame work for the pyramid is not up yet. When I went in 2017 they were up back in early May If I remember.  unless they are doing something different this year

Feels like we’re due a significant ramp up any time now. There are still some tracks to put down, lots of tents to go up, Pyramid screen and speaker stacks, the Pyramid and Other sound booths and internals. Surely all that needs doing before the end of next week, so food vans etc. can start to arrive the following Monday?

Most of the food vans will arrive before then too, probably that weekend more so as a lot of crew arrive that sunday.

    • It was fine, just hectic! The youngsters were mostly very well-behaved. The weather was a real bonus, although surprisingly chilly evenings - I guess it's the altitude - and the area between sound and main stage was a massive dust bowl.
    • Ive always had a lot of time for the mighty Shots, a pal of mine used to commentate on their games for Sussex Counties radio and he'd sneak me into the ground for midweek games, and we'd even nick a tea and a plate of sandwiches. This is back in the George Borg days, so um . . a little while ago now
    • Hmm, weird- Rush are playing the Co-Op live on the 12th and the 14th, and Megadeth are the meat in that sandwich - so they have to roll everything in, roll it out again, only to roll it back in and then out - here's hoping for a prog hokey-cokey with all manner of bizarre time signatures and drum solos!
    • Depends what you mean by seeing 'more stuff' about it.    I definitely don't trust the original Sun article.
