Very strange, the image here https://panodata2.panomax.com/cams/879/full.jpg is different to the one on the BBC.

Much more recent - more fence and stuff around the Pyramid.

Oh, you think they're goal posts, not 1/2 put up supports.  I can't get my head around the angles!  And why would there be 4 x goal posts?

Looks like just 2 sets to me.

Think the angled bits are just the supports. Can't see any cranes over there so assume they are in final position.

Could it be as discussed the other day that we are getting a more Leeds style stage rather than the standard other stage we are used too. Owned by the same company.

Has the BBC stage (presenters) always been adjacent the ribbon tower? I don't remember seeing it there last year and spent quite a bit of time over that way

It looks to be that one yes, the person who spotted the difference the other day posted a link to the company who make the stages and they make both this stage you've posted above and the previously new other stage that we've had for the past couple of years.

Interesting, I am sure they said that the dimensions of this stage are actually larger as well.
