Tried and failed this morning. I’m not too bothered.. I’ve failed in the first sale for as long as I remember. but I was trying for myself and it was only me. The current system is weighted in favour of groups and buying blocks. It would be nice if this was shifted a bit

I didn't go this year, but felt what you're saying in 2022 Part of it could be a rapidly changing demographic - not necessarily lots of young people, just a lot more newbies. People talk about how friendly it is , everyone looks out for each other and chilled it is and so on - I remember that, and I started going in 2010. But people who started attending in 2022/23 etc.. are getting less of that friendly vibe and taking less of a cue.

Yeah I think it'll take the same amount of time to sell out as last time round - access to the booking page is restricted isn't it? so that's the bottle neck and if they let more/fewer people onto the booking page that will impact the timeframe to selling out. They'd have to be a massive downturn in demand for time to reduce the time. I'm unsure about going - I might log in on for a giggle to see if I get the booking page - I've not seen it in the main sale for years! and then by the resale, I'll decide if I'll try or not. I've mostly got tickets in the resale since 2014

I still think it's good value I'll probably try for tickets on T-Day, just out of habit more than anything tbh - but I'm not too bothered about going, not because of the price of the ticket but I think some time away would be good

Being into photography, it's been hard to avoid the 'NFT ART' chat Earlier this year the Grandson of August Sandor (German Photographer) made his archive of photographs available as NFTs and to be sold. The auction happened and people paid their money and seemed happy with what they won. I'm still unsure what they thought that had won, but as with other NFT at it seemed to be a link to a JPEG hosted on one of the Marketplace (i'm not sure what they're called) websites. Except the grandson didn't own the archive and the Marketplace was forced to remove the JPEGs. So those that won the auction, ended up with a link to a black webpage. I'm not sure if the story moved on since earlier this year when I was following it. and I'm not sure if answers the OPs question, but thought Id share

live traffic updates would be good - I wonder how that would work with people on footpaths queueing for food or milling about through, would that that give a false picture? and how would you define the colour coding

No matter how good the app turns out, you'll still be competing with an 'official app' and the amount of marketing/promotion that offers... The problems I see are, people won't see past the EE app to find your app and it doesn't really do anything new that I'd find interesting.

I'm glad to have gone. It was a weird one though, crowd was very flat and got going during Rabbit hole. The crowd seemed more up for songs from Reflector onwards, which I thought was odd

OK i'm going to lose money on hotels and train tickets for thursday, but my perferece is the tour is canned and I get ticket money back. Otherwise, currently thking (and still not made my mind up) I'll reluctantly go - perhaps by then there will be a protest or way to make feelings known

I only popped along Friday night after Foals - Now, I was pretty wasted, but I had a great time at GA and C&S+CC.. visuals and lasers were great and no issues with the sound.. I may have been around the edge where the speakers are. I agree with it not needing big names.. gutted to miss KuruptFM for Macca though Also think it has become just another 'stage' to watch acts on... as opposed to thing in itself

I had Covid for the first time 2 ish weeks before and felt rough for a week. I tested negative a week before. We we packed up late morning Sunday, we packed up our area obs... I have a gut feeling the nos crew we we camped near probably were going to leave a trace but the other groups seemed to have kept tidy as they went along, so I have some faith in them. In generally, it felt a lot better

I joined the queue to get in at around 4.30am this year - I'm always keen to get in early, pitch up in a convenient location and commence! but with it being so busy, there wasn't really much benefit being there weds/thurs and I only ended up tiring myself out. There was a magic about the weds/thurs that isn't there any more and it's costing too much in terms of energy and lack of sleep I think If I go again... I might arrive thurs evening and go all in on the friday/sat/sun

Also bewildered by the amount of people in the pyramid tucking into one of those huge yorkshires - just not appetising at all

The queues for food seemed way longer this year and I refused to queue that much - so this had an impact on my food choices this year Worst - Jerk Chicken between pyramid and Williams green.. perhaps I caught them at the wrong time but the chicken was dry Honorable mentions.. Caribbean Fried Chicken on West Holts Katsu - Chicken Katsu - maybe between Greenpeace / west holts?

Queues for food are massive in some places - longer than normal

Think I’m camped in between park home and pennard hill.. where glade staff camping usually is I think? I guess that’s general camping now.. still quite a bit of space 70% full
