We stopped by earlier to wander round the site on the way to Cornwall, I think that group of four were there, two you lads and an older bloke with a dlsr camera, one of them had a laminated A4 sheet with a logo on it, didn't really think much of it until afterwards. The logo was like a round circle with a line through it.

This is live, you need to refresh the page then the image will change at the same time as the BBC one, you really do need to be watching it at work, it's not fair to miss out :)

Look like pallets or something.
They put all the sheds there before moving them out on site last year.

On Sunday they were starting to get the post pallets full of long drop components out, that is probably what you can see (not been past since then). They will start to build them around site now.

The pipe is for spraying cow shit onto the fields, comes a long way from the very big slurry tanks at Steanbow / Park Farm. Been going on for some time.  It was running through the Other Field to near the entrance to West Holt last time I looked.

Whoop!! I expect that'll be the security hut thingies put by the pyramid whilst it's all under construction. Just a guess.

I can't wait to be hooked to the cam. The other half can't get her head around it. "BUT NOTHING IS HAPPENING!!!" she squawks, foolishly. "But it could be, at any moment", I wisely reply.

First proper build work is in the Park, isn't it? The ribbon tower and park stage, iirc.

Yeah think you're right, love checking in to see the progress of the fence every day

Nipped through last years posts on this thread:

April 25 2016
Ribbon tower hat delivered

3rd May 2016
Cherry pickers inspecting the Pyramid structure

6th May 2016
First signs of the fence

May 10th 2016
First sides on the Pyramid  (although it looked like they tried to put a side up the week before but packed away again)
Other stage floor.  The roof was added a week later, but too another 3 weeks to be raised.

11th May 2016
Park Stage up

12th May 2016
Ribbon tower hat put on

17th May 2016
Pyramid cap put on

This takes us up to Page 50 of this thread, afterwards it's just an explosion of activity.

It's like the M25 around the roads around the site. It was far more peaceful running on the farm last night than it was around the surrounding roads tonight, even if the tractors kicked up so much dust.  Back to the farm tomorrow night me thinks for a little solitude.

Excellent summary, thanks noddy! Wonder if it's too much to ask @Gnomicide to add these exciting milestones to The Thingy

I got a picture of my our dog on those pallet things when we stopped by last week. He stunk to high heaven afterwards, of what at the time we could best describe as pig shit, so I can certainly vouch for the fact that those pipes  were for spraying shit on the fields!

Can anyone tell me the web address & how it's actually done so you can pick any date / time on the webcam and view it in that high res version?

Pretty sure someone explained this last year and it was quite cool to flick back and forth at the different stages in the build.
