Yeah the pit barrier is where its at. Can dive in and out of the action when you fancy, too.

Is basically the only way to get in there to camp there early? Last year was my first time but I'm not stupid enough to miss what's going on elsewhere to sit and camp infront of a stage.

However I would like to get a bit closer for something on the pyramid than I did last year.

I'd imagine pushing your way through the crowed is frowned upon too?

Also if you do get in the pit. Can you get back in if you want go for a piss / beer?

No, I get to the side a couple of songs before the act finishes before I want to see and make my way in during the turnover. 

Getting back for a piss can be a ballache, but Ive done it.

To be fair, Madonna at the Brits last year was the funniest thing I've seen on tv since the Transfer Deadline Day incident outside Goodison.

Only if you're a dick about it. If you can clearly see there is standing space further forward and you say 'excuse me/thanks' nobody really gives a toss

I generally come from the JP / Beat Hotel side. I find that easier. It can depend on who is on though. Some Pyramid dwellers love to stay and watch anyone

During the day, getting in and out can be really easy depending on who's finishing and who you want to see.

Lana Del Rey into Robert Plant was hysterical. Girls who had spent the last 40 minutes on their boyfriend's shoulders out, middle age blokes in.

Struggling to estimate the size the crowd that Adele will have ....

You'd imagine it would be fairly large as she's one of the biggest artists on the planet and she's something 'different' in terms of a headliner, but at the same time I can lots of people avoiding / getting bored halfway through the set and wandering elsewhere.

Im all for watching acts I'd never pay to see at their own gig, but I just don't think I could watch her for 1.5 hours .. And I'm a fan of her records. Hmmmmm ...

Yeah. I was in my spot for Mary J Blige and Motorhead last year. The turnover was huge there too. We were one of the only groups who were seeing both in the pit 

I was part of that turnover for Robert Plant, but I was 30 then.. middle aged?!

Back row of the pit is always the way to go! Best view in the house if you can get there. I saw Rage Against the Machine from that position at Download and it was unbelievable. Managed to get there for Flo last year too.

Literally the ideal time to ever see KoL in my opinion. 3 cracking albums in, their latest being their all round best and a set list big enough to grace the top spot, just before the sh*t hit the fan. They were great that night. That was the 3rd time I'd seen them. Never seen them since and never want to ruin it by seeing them ever again.
