They'll do well not to get outshined by the cribs though.

Pretty sure there's some history of the openers being outshone by the band that follows them, hard not to really. I'll be sticking round for the Cribs.

Good opener though, if (as seems likely) it is them. Not just a great back catalogue but still making quality music.

Fair comment. I didn't see that (I've seen DH twice and Blondie once and every time was a shambolic embarrassment) but when I mentioned great performances in another thread people were lining up to say that Blondie were a better opener than the Hives. I was too horrified to respond.
