Go for a dump inbetween

I'll be able to look at it in our innings as soon as I'm out but I don't wanna sit on my own looking at a lineup and seem weird, and I'd also hate to just have a skim read through it and then not be able to see it for a few more hours. That'd be horrid.

Taking some time off these forums, mainly for mine and the forums benefit.

Happy to see that Emily has given a date, strange as she's usually the most tightest lipped of all.

See you lot at the festival! :)

We need your shining beacon of optimism to counter uncle Russy's bleak, dark skies. Don't go!

I hope this 'break from the forums' lasts as long as your last one did, miss you already :(

Who will provide us with important information on lineup announcement patterns and trends? Please think this through.

In all seriousness I quite enjoy your posts.

Day after last uni exam. Nice one love you Emily xx

Samesies, fuck you Mathematical Modelling in Finance

When I read June 2nd I thought that was still another few weeks away so was a little disappointed, didn't realise it was next Tuesday...

Glad we finally know a date for the proper announcement.

I'm guessing we can expect stage/day split at a minimum too? And hopefully the timetable might be included too...

So I reckon Shangri-La's announcement today is the last area specific announcement before the Tuesday drop.

She said 'the rest' so it's got to be a web page not just a big poster. That'll mean stage and day splits at the very least, times came at roughly that time last year I think so if we're lucky we'll get those and we can have a good few weeks with a solid clashfinder debating over the inevitable numerous horrible clashes.

Matt - you are my favourite poster on here. Yes, I laugh at some of what you say, but your enthusiasm for it is fantastic. That is what it is about. Id rather have that than most posts.

I genuinely belive no malice was ever meant in anything anyone has written at any point, but you do what is best for you.

I agree, I'd be amazed if we got anything less than a complete line up with day and stage splits, and running times.

Tuesday can't come soon enough. I need to make peace with the horrible decisions I'll be forced to make.

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
