I will be! Listened to a park live last night, which I was also at, and the sing along sound great :)

I treated myself to boys and girls yesterday!

"And the boys go"

"Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh"

"And the girls..."

Can't wait! Just need to get the small matter of getting completely shitfaced out of the way then I'll head in!

By the way, I know this is ridiculous as I was the one sorting people with the link, but if anyone's got a spare or two going...

Hi Matt are you still looking for spares - I should have one and happy to pass to you seeing as you helped us with the link :)

Slight changed to the stage times today, apparently updated on the BST app according to a tweet

Does anyone know what these changes are? Just looked on their website and Twitter and it seems the only way to find out is to download the app. Which feckin cheeky.

In a nutshell, are Blur still due on at 19.55? Not planning to arrive until half seven.

Do they close the front pit off at some point? Wasn't planning on going in till about 5. Bollocks.

When it gets full, so you should be fine as long as you are not going in just before Blur come on, just after the support act ends and you should be fine.

They've cut 20 mins from the set?!?

Couple of shorter songs.

If anyone sees a guy on his own in a Bo Ningen shirt and a Los Campesinos! hoodie give us a shout, kinda boring between acts with no-one to talk to haha.

Agree that the sound for the Horrors (and indeed Drenge) was actually really good. And a genuine moshpit for Drenge too! Solid. Can't wait for Metronomy and Blur :D

    • Orbital opening the Other stage is a bold choice!
    • Great start for them
    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
