Don't know if this has been uploaded anywhere else and sorry for the quality it's on my phones camera but this is the Leeds map this year

Looks like they've still got the day exit at the back of red again :( which sucks for me, as that's where we like to camp, and it pushes us too deep into the corner there.

unless more tour dates are announced (and christ i hope they are) looks like Reading/Leeds may be The Dillinger Escape Plan's last UK shows, as they're splitting up after this tour :(

they probably can't announce till after, i know frank turner can't announce till after (where he's playing more than 1 show in scotland) and frank carter said hes touring in oct/nov and im assuming thats waiting on Reading as well.

They'll be around for a while. Found this on the NME article

"Asked about the band's exit plan, Weinman revealed that they'd be calling it a day after they finish the upcoming tour cycle for 'Disassociation'.

"We are going to do the cycle for this album and that's it," he said. "But there are a lot of things that go into this cycle. We have a full US tour that we'll be doing in the fall and then we'll be doing a massive tour in Europe in the winter, and that will probably take us towards playing other areas like Australia or wherever we have to hit. Then I'm sure we'll come back around and hit summer festivals and figure out what our very last shows will be around that time.""

And on top of that their FB mentioned that their tour would be the start of a of hundreds of shows so I'm not sprinting off to Leeds this years to see them

Here's last years map for reference. Appears that it was and that the site's shape is almost identical based on @DirtyChorizo's photo

Further info on it here:

At Leeds, it was XFM DJs or something along those lines, playing typical R&L music mostly. Arctics, Franz Ferdinand, Kasabian etc. It's something to do on the Thursday night like, pretty fun. I assume it was at Reading too but I don't know.

    • Personal Trainer start a UK tour on 6 Sept and have featured a times. They were kind of there last year in the form of Long Fling (a great set in the Tipi). I could see them being a secret set in the Tipi again. I don’t remember the Bollox new name for the Tipi and never will.

    • I too am always a bit blurred on what/who constitutes a legend slot but would Sting fit that bill?  Those there said his IoW slot was v good and he has enough of a songbook imo for a Sun afternoon if he uses the Police's 1st 2 albums for a fair chunk of it
