Great sing a long music if you stand somewhere not looking at the stage.

Would Noel be so shallow and that desperate to reform?

I hope not!

He will. But not yet. He'll milk all the hype and do it in his own time and on his terms. He's calling the shots, let's face it. His solo cater is going pretty well too.

No way Noel would do this while he's touring a new album. It wouldn't make any sense.

They'll reform one day though, and it can't be too far away or half the crowd won't know who they are - their best material will be at least twenty years ago (does anyone else feel old right now?). But, it won't be 2015.

I hope I'm there when it does happen though. If they get it right, it'll be absolutely brilliant.

As has been well said, with Noel's impending new album and tour it doesn't make sense to put an Oasis reunion right in the middle of it. I'm thinking a couple more years now, once Noel's new album has been toured to death.

A 20-year Knebworth anniversary in 2016 possibly?

Plus, didn't Eavis say the three headliners are already booked?

Saw them in 2004 and wasn't impressed. I do remember him being quoted as saying he would never do Glastonbury again and rambling on about the sound being "shit" so can't see them doing it again.

I mean, saying you would never do something again to the press and then doing it again would make you look like a right wan...Oh.. Definately maybe then eh.

(Edit - Should have said Liam was quoted as saying)

Edit Edit - In fact he played it with Beady Eye since so yeah, shows the conviction fo the man.

I think one of the reasons they didn't do well in 95 or 04 is that they're well away from their natural audience. They'll be people in the crowd that quite like them (Christ knows why, but each to their own) but the fanatical, knuckle-dragging Oasis fan base are not usually found at Glastonbury in massive numbers.

That was the noise the musicians were making. Nothing to do with Glastos sound setup.

The gaps between the songs were what killed it for me in 04, before I left.

"Live fe-reh-vah"

*20 odd secons of silence*

*Drums start*

Yup! Reminds me of 2005, when Live8 was happening. I said to my assistant manager at work 'ah, I remember watching the first one with my sisters in our living room.' Her response was 'the first what?' When I explained about Live Aid in 1985, which she'd never heard of, she explained she hadn't even been born then! Made me feel ancient.
