Few of the sets from Glasto bound artists I've been listening to lately, spanning various genres so hopefully something for everyone.....

Just had a spin through these and liked the Malugi set, but can’t see him on the line up?

Cheers for that - it can be a bit woods for the trees looking for a single act in the line up - and thanks for all the sets and dj reccs u drop, really gives us part time ravers a hand in finding things we might like. Not long now!!!!

My one and only creamfields was very... OK but I'd say that's more down to youthful overexcitement on my part. I'm probably hyping Glastonbury a little because it's what I know and am currently peeing my pants with excitement about. I'd love to go to Dekmantel and imagine it's one of handful that would definitely compete.

I'm off to Dekmantel this year. Very excited for it. But first, trawling through all of the acts and times announced for the big one yesterday.

I'm really surprised Glastonbury didn't get Sabres of Paradise. Thought they'd be a lock for the Glade.

Morning all. Schedule is filled nicely now with lots of sets (more than I can physically make it to in reality) of DJs and artists, many of whom come from recommendations here so thanks to all in the E&D community, this is deffo the best thread on the internet.

Not that any of you asked, but my plan is roughly this for anyone who is interested.

Thursday: Start with a bit of MJ Cole at the glade, then either hang around for Fabio & Grooverider or if too busy head off to the Sensation Seekers stage for a bit of Shohawk Duo for the traditional start to the festival from the “acoustic rave” team and then make our way to the temple for Propa Ammo vs Uncommon Records: DJ Rap & Dope Ammo vs Resist followed by our Thursday night must see of Wilkinson.

Friday: One of my busiest days for bands bouncing between other and Avalon to catch Ash, Terrorvision, Supergrass, Alanis & Biffy, the evenings dance fix will be served up by Silver Hayes on “day 1 proper”, we will be bouncing between LTJ Bukem and Goldie on levels, and FBS, Camelphat and Amelie Lens on LHC.

Saturday: Back to the Glade area on Saturday I think, although this is the night with the most options and loosest plans. Will probably start at Arcadia rushing to catch the end of Becky Hill after getting all punked up by the Lambrini girls. Max Cooper, Amelie Lens, Annie Mac, Four Tet and Malugi, Richie Hawtin, Modeselektor, are all in the mix depending on where the mood takes us, I would say that the only fixed point for the night will be Fish56Octagon on Greenpeace.

Sunday: My quietest day on the band front I reckon, so will watch Louis Dunsford on the Other first thing and then proper chill out, whittle a spoon or something and then snooze, bimble, eat some lush food and people watch my way through the day until the evening kicks off with Wolf Alice into The Prodigy on the Other stage. This will be the absolute highlight of the weekend. The greatest live act of my lifetime, in the greatest place on earth, with the person I love most in the world. Then a dash to my first ever set on IICON for Subfocus to end what will undoubtedly be the best weekend of the year.

Please note the author provides no guarantees as to the accuracy of this plan and all of the above is subject to change.

some overlap with my plans there.

These are the ones that are nailed on for me:

Friday: Max Cooper

Saturday: Glade (Amelie & Rich), iicon (Blawan)

Sunday: Prodigy (maybe Ki/Ki)

Should be with you on the Saturday; & Sunday is the only lock with Prodigy, then all-nite Temple. More work to do.

The challenge for me is not only finding the right acts musically, but also curating something which flows without having to lose too much time bouncing from one side of the festival to the other, whilst simultaneously taking in Arcadia (a must see each year, even for a little bit) and ensuring some time in The Temple and IICON (the best stages).

But….

The fun is in the planning, scanning sets and looking back and forth at the Clashfinder. What a privilege to be able to do so.

Thursday I'd normally go for Downlow but I might stick to Glade this year - that run from Ross From Friends to Eliza Rose to Joy Orbison should be great. I would love to catch Marie Davidson on Levels but might be a bit of a nightmare given some of the names on before her

Friday I'm looking at Daniel Avery b2b Imogen at Glade early evening. Tempted by Shygirl, thought she was amazing on Arcadia last year, but will prob see a headliner instead. Then Block9 looks like the one that night - Cybotron and Two Shell on iicon will be fun, and it's a Genosys classis - Peach x Saoirse x Moxie, then Midland

Saturday, I always spend some time at Assembly during the day and Call Super b2b Shanti Celeste is ringing my bell. I might check out Kelly Lee Owens b2b Daniel Avery immediately after the headliners, but if it's too San Remo I'll get out of there. Either Assembly (Moxie, Enzo Siragusa b2b Willow) or Blawan on iicon to finish

Sunday it's got to be Temple. Slightly sacrilegious but I'm not a huuuge Prodigy fan, so might do most of Overmono and get over to SE early...

💯

Agree some of this is looking a struggle this year, especially on Friday night there’s no contiguous programming of proper techno - can’t justify walking between iicon & LHC for one set for example…

also very gutted I won’t be there to see the sun come up in the Temple at any point this year 😭

Hi all, first time back here since last year..starting to shape my plans, Temple on Sunday looking good. I've been listening to Malugi sets. He is on before Ki/Ki. Probs need to get in the Temple for his set for a space for Ki/KI and Ben Sims. This set is a banger..

Might use that in my life going forward “it’s all gone a bit San Remo in here”

Hi team

Just popping in quickly to say hi!

Am deep into curating my schedules.

Headlines:

1. Why is Glastonbury conspiring to make it nigh on impossible for techno-heads to start dancing at midnight and end at 6am without jumping all over the site, with the issues of (a) time wasted in transit and (b) concern regarding ability to get into places?! 😂

2. With Ash given the ridiculous 5pm slot on Avalon, my Friday night now means I can see a set on Arcadia - step up to the plate, Mr Cooper.

3. Levels Thursday night is a place to be. Marie Davidson into Adiel could be quite magnificent. Who's with me?

More later.

1) hear, hear. This is the worst for that i can remember (i think compounded by my Sunday night Temple woes)

2) he’s coming to stay with me this wknd so will drill him for information (hoping to blag myself inside the dragonfly)

3) probs go to the Downlow on Thursday (assuming I can be arsed doing makeup etc.) but will have a listen, thanks

Hang on, sorry, what, pardon??!

Bloody hell!

Well...

1. Feel free to let me know if there's a spare Arcadia wristband 😉.

2. Please could you explain our minor techno woes, and ask him if he would be kind enough to give us a nice, dark set of techno/IDM at 135bpm, please and thank you 🤩.

3. If he needs flattery (to secure that haaaard set), tell him I thought his A/V show at the Roundhouse had the best visuals of any set I've seen!

Probably a lot of people, unfortunately. Maybe some good churn after the Rinkydinkpanther?

Kinetic stage might be worth a look late-late Friday night - its says “Hardcore Energy takeover” but its the old skool rave kind, not like happy hardcore

Origin8 and propa are closing Blind Tiger on Friday night too - might be the first time ever I rave one out in the Unfairground 😂

edit: there is a substantial risk that the Blind Tiger set will be DnB

Ha - yeah. They appear to picking up their box at 4 and wandering over to start the next set at 4:30. 🤪

(Friday night, for me, is still a complete mess)

Not all d&b, but very much 4 in the morning stuff ... https://www.rinse.fm/episodes/hardcore-energy-24-04-2025-1400/

Yup. My plan is probably to try to head over there after Emma-Jean Thackray on Lore (finishes 2145h) and then salmon my way in. That's unquestionably where these dancing feet need to start the festival properly.

He's on 0030 Sunday night in The Temple. As previously mentioned (hadn't read back that far)

    • Regarding PinkPantheress: I watched the ending of The Cure from the back and then bolted straight to Cupra to save spots on the steps for my entire festival crew. Thus, we all had a good experience there. Sucks that not everybody got to properly see it, but it felt like something out of Glastonbury where those who showed up long in advance got to see a big artist on a smaller stage in good conditions.
    • Cracking debut album earlier this year
    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
