When it comes to that genre we sound like we have a similar taste so 4am Kru might be up your street, can't remember what stage but somewhere in silver hayes. I'm sure others with more knowledge will chip in with more.

Saw 4am Kru last year(?) in the Temple. They were on at 5am, which amused me slightly

I’ve got no problem being a curmudgeon. You’re right he really shouldn’t be on Genosys.

Please point it out as I’m seeing shockingly little, although I may just not know names. I don’t mean that “jump up” shite.

When did DnB stop being DnB and transform into far too fast, no change in tempo, no lovely female vocals, no imagination SHITE?

It's just a sub-genre made popular by a younger audience preferring "drops" and grime vocals over rollers. It's definitely not all like that this year. In fact, I'd say we've got more intelligent or traditional jungle/DnB than we've had in ages in 2025. Calibre, Bukem, Lens, Goldie, Die, Nia Archives, Roni Size, Fabio, Grooverider, DRS, Shy FX, DJ Rap...I could go on. Search it out, it's there

The more I think about the more f**king stupid it is to put FBS on Genyosis (sp). If you must put him in Block 9, then it has to be IICON, less of a bottleneck. Unless he’s on early, does Block 9 run pre midnight?
Otherwise 100% field shut down

It's listed as a day party

No, no intel on line-up, about which I'm sort of glad, as it's the anticipation of the B9 drop that is one of my very favourite things!

Would LOVE to see Helena Hauff melt IICON with twin vinyl decks. That would be phenomenal. And, I'm really hoping that Wata Igarashi is not coming all that way only to do an ambient set on the Tree Stage. Two hours of him on Genosys and I might just burst.

Be

I fear our Helena manifestations have failed us 😞 Can only see Stonebridge as remaining option. But that would be a big let down venue wise.

Best to worst for the big electronic offerings this year IMO . Glade and SH some way ahead of the rest this year for me . Block 9 super underwhelming.

Glade

Silver Hayes

Arcadia

Shangri La

Common

Block 9

Unfairground

curious to know everyone else’s?

Same feeling on Glade & SH, after that I think for my taste Block 9 just takes it over arcadia but tbh everything after SH there isn't much between it in terms of actual numbers of acts I'd wanna see due to a. not having fully went digging to listen to stuff i'm not aware of yet & b. the amount of folk doing multiple sets over the weekend, which considering how stacked the line up is overall i see as a bit of a blessing in disguise as it will make it easier on the clash front hopefully.

Not sure if this is the place to ask - but has anyone more dedicated than myself put together a list of stages and what genres they tend to play?

I.e. ICONN - DnB, Glade - House...

Our little group lean more to House and Techno than DnB - so would be great to know where to aim for, especially in the SE Corner, which can be very overwhelming when you stumble in at 3am haha!

Overall, the drop is decent, whilst not stellar.

Yeah, there’s a few little gems but there’s nothing unmissable on here for me. It’ll depend on serendipity of being nearby (or a back to back run of decent acts all on the same night), but there’s so much on the West side that I may not spend much time in the SE corner this year*…

(*my glamorous alter ego will get me past the queue for NYC on Thursday night 😂 and ordinarily i’d be in Temple on Sunday, but driving home next morning is likely to prevent that)

and agree another stage banging out yet more DnB was really not needed.

I’m not particularly surprised that the offerings in the Glade & Silver Hayes are more appealing than the SEC. They’re obviously trying to spread the crowds out, which isn’t a bad thing in my opinion.

Shangri-La - at the moment, the lineup is grouped together. Once they announce the timings, you'll get a better idea of who's playing where.

For house music lovers Holly Hutch or Sam Divine are worth checking out but will depend on the timings as to whether I get there.  It's about as far from techno or DnB as  you can get but if you like melodic uplifting house music then this is definitely your bag. Holly can get a bit harder depending on the crowd.

Glade - this year it's arguably more varied that ever, with some house and techno big hitters. Richie Hawtin, Amelie Lens, Max Cooper, Daniel Avery should scratch your techno itch and there's house music royalty in Marshall Jefferson, as well as more contemporary artists like Interplanetary Criminal, Kettama, Boring, Seinfeld, etc. On paper, the Glade probably has the strongest card for electronic this year.

Silver Hayes - tends to keep genres together, usually on a specific stage per day. For example, if you're more into house and techno, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at The Levels will probably be more your bag. Friday at Lonely Hearts Club, ditto. Assembly looks like it might be good all weekend for your gang.

The Common - home of the greatest stage at the festival, The Temple. Music policy there tends to be segregated into genres per day. This year looks like Sunday might be techno day again, like last year, which a few on here will tell you was spectacular. Obviously, this will all be confirmed once they announce the full lineup and timings but early artist confirmations would indicate this is going to be the case. Rumshack and Kinetic tend to be an eclectic mix of beats and breaks but definitely worth popping your head around the corner for both.

Arcadia - Friday and Saturday are your days for house and techno this year.

Block 9 - NYC Downlow is classic house and disco heaven. Since IICON first came along in 2022, this stage's music policy has usually been more avant garde techno and electronica but we are starting to see a little shift in that, with a few more DnB acts creeping in. Still, if you like your techno minimal, with a few more bleeps and squelches, this might be the place for you. Genosys tends to lean towards more techno but that's quite a general term, it's much more nuanced than that. Put it this way, there won't be any DnB!

Shangri-La - at the moment, the lineup is grouped together. Once they announce the timings, you'll get a better idea of who's playing where.

That's a very basic breakdown. Dunno if anyone can add anything.

Wow ask and you shall receive! Thank you so much for this, a huge help for us... have a great festival!

Welcome to the greatest thread of all @Arrowman 😆

Once the full line up drops, you'll see many in here will post their planned dance schedules (both daytimes, as there are quite a few daytime dancers in here, but particularly their four nights, Thu-Sun).

You'll see who likes what and how they've curated their intended plans. For instance, I am typecast as mostly finding techno! But there are loads of people in here who are massively knowledgable in the dance scene, so please ask anything you want to.

No problem at all! We have a nice little community within a community in this thread. You have a wealth of passionate and knowledgeable people to lean on, if you have any electronica-related questions. Please come back again, join in the chat beforehand and of course, let us know how your festival was afterwards!

We have a bit more of an idea on the B9 splits from Crack Magazine ...

IICON

Thursday will kick off with music from the likes of Pearson Sound, Friday will host performances from Cybotron and Two Shell, and Saturday will see shows from SHYBOI, Makadsi and more. Bushbby, Raggs, and Sippin’ T will play on Sunday, before a traditional drum ‘n’ bass finale with Nia Archives, Sub Focus and DJ Storm will close out the area.

Genosys

Friday’s bill includes a b2b2b with Saoirse, Peach and Moxie; Saturday starts early with Confidential Recipe b2b Leeon, Leonce, ISAbella, EMA and Hannah Holland; and New York legend Justin Strauss, Block9 veteran Felix Dickenson and more close out the stage on Sunday.

Downlow

DJ Disciple, Heléna Star and Bashkka will play on Friday, while Saturday sees a 30th birthday tribute to Classic Music Company and performances from Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon. Jonny Woo’s resident drag troupe Maude Adams & All Those Children will run through the weekend with nightly themed performances, including Sunday night celebration A Night of 1000 Divines / A Celebration of John Waters.

so sounds at least like all the Dnb is condensed into Sunday night when it can be safely avoided 😂

    • I found the vibe a little different to recent editions.. definitely an older crowd, less queer, less Spanish.. certainly has something to do with the lack of Glastonbury this year. And I felt Saturday was a little overcrowded. I‘ve never seen Mordor as full as last night for the xx and Gorillaz. Did not enjoy that too much.
    • Not my favourite year either, despite liking the lineup more than previous years. Not sure what it was, I guess Thursday really put the brakes on things. But yeah I'll be back next year hopefully. And maybe Massive Attack will return...
    • E-mail summarizing Saturday - Primavera Sound 2026 Journal Day 3. As in previous days, it's going to be on the website soon, I think.
    • I was surprised as well. I met more than 20 different people on both Friday and Saturday that had come in reusing QR codes.
