  1. Also hoping for the same. If she enjoyed last year then very good chance I’d say. There is a Glasto shaped hole on her current schedule according to RA so am keeping fingers crossed.
  2. I saw them in the same venue 2015 and the sound was excellent. I think they did tweet abut bringing something extra with them to beef things up a bit but can't find record of it online. In short, I wouldn't worry.

    Vodafone

Am on EE and I would lose signal every night around headliner time, for both data and regular network texts. Very frustrating when trying to co-ordinate meet ups last minute. Sounds like some others on EE were OK. Maybe it was a 4G vs 5G thing as my phone is 4G only. Or might have just been first come first served and I missed out but it kept happening throughout the festival.

Don’t get the fuss here. I saw them at Emirates on Sunday and thought they were superb (first time I’d see them live). And I don’t count myself as some die hard fan at all. Alex is a totally captivating performer in my eyes. f**k this you’ve gotta have banter between songs biz. He’s a f**king rock star doing his thing. I (and person I was with) enjoyed last Sunday so much we vowed to see them again last night and did not regret the decision at all. Enjoyed the more recent stuff live than on record too, maybe because there’s less phones in the air and you can soak it in a bit more.
  5. Reasonable if you properly wade in and hunt a bit (and don’t have to be right next opposite each other).
  6. A bit late in the day but I collated a bunch of soundcloud mixes from those on the line-up. If you're not sure what's what have a flick through to see if anything takes your fancy. Far from comprehensive but better than nowt!
  7. Met Office still sounding a bit meh
  8. Gotcha, cheers. We might do a quick scout of the area in case it's not as severe as suggested on the map.
  9. Heya, I'm only going by the map in this thread (i.e. the official website one). It suggests, if taking up the whole segments covered by the symbol, that accessible area has roughly doubled in size compared to last year (when adding chunks of Wicket and Hitchin together). Have you got different info from somewhere?
  10. Am in similar position as our usual spot now taken up by disabled camping. I figured others who've camped in these areas may make Lime Kiln, Hitchin Hill and Micahel's Mead fill up quicker than usual if they switch to the remaining space. But I'd bet still some space there for midday Weds. We're still undecided but likely to stay away, maybe opt for one of the areas that wasn't open last year.
  11. Hoping Buritto Cartel are back again. Best I've had at Glasto. In previous years to be found on the stretch of stalls from Pyramid to San Remo.
  12. We're missing half of Platform 23 right? Only got Sat and Sunday listed right now

Anyone know what Worthy Rest is about?
  14. You’ll be fine. Always free space later on in the south west edges.
  15. Used the drop off point last year and saw sack truck style trolleys allowed on no problem (but only a few per bus). If yours is foldable you'll be absolutely fine. I think they put that note on there to discourage the big 4 wheeler or wheelbarrow types. Do the taxi.

We're up to v1.3 - minor changes spotted in Sticklinch and Worthy View

Yeah yeah ok, I’m only having a moan because this is the fourth time I’ve had to move on from a usual area due to a site reconfig. I’ll get over it come June 🙂

As a recent convert to travelling via public transport the loss of camping space close to gate A is v. annoying.
  19. I caught this bus last year and yes they did load them. If it's not heavily loaded the crew may be able to deal with everything on it but be prepared to quickly disassemble if they need you to i.e. don't do the shrink wrap thing. There's limited trolley space so you may have to wait for the next one if there's already gear there (think the wheelchair/pram area on a double-decker).
  20. They're good alone for carrying a large amount of cleaning water back to tent. How warm it will get does depend on sun but it can take the edge off. Hanging up to use as a full shower a bit trickier but worse case someone else can hold for you.

Oooh now then... where's this pic from? Is the whole version available somewhere? Asking for a friend...

    Resale Club 2023

Big stretch to say bots are making things worse with next to no evidence of it actually happening at any scale. Meanwhile there’s a huge amount of evidence all over this forum and beyond of hyper-organisation and efficient group forming to help get people through. This used to be the secret sauce that regulars would deploy but everyone’s caught on to it now. The only edge I’ve now had is that people tend to give up when seeing ‘All allocated’ or a sold out tweet whereas I’ve kept going. It’s how I got my ticket this year and one for a friend in the resale.
  23. This. I walk in every year around lunch time on the Weds. No queue whatsoever, plenty of decent camping spots still available.
