I've just seen GOAT are back in Europe by May - Playing Roskilde the week after Glastonbury. They would storm it on The Park, they were outstanding on West Holts the other year.

If that happens it'll have to take P***** playing to stop me from going.

Didn't they play on the Hell stage in the early hours of the morning in 2013? Now that is the perfect setting for them.

About 4th down maybe?

It's good that they're doing Williams Green on the Thursday as well, should help as they'll inevitably clash with someone on the Friday.

Yeah, they said they were playing 4th down.

Good for them, will get some nice TV coverage as well which they deserve.

He probably will have been mentioned in here but what are the chances of The Tallest Man on Earth? Loving his new album.

Would have to be the Friday as he's in Denmark / Sweden on Saturday and Sunday, probably unlikely but I'd love him to play, and The Park is his obvious home.

I really like Sagres and a few others I've heard. Which album(s) would be best to start with?

From his site:

Roskilde is actually 1st-4th July, but he's doing Stockholm on the Sunday/Monday - that'd would free up the Fri/Sat, unless I'm missing something!

All his albums to date are great .. All are only 10 songs long and are great to just but on and relax too. My favourite of his is The Wild Hunt, but I'd suggest just playing his albums in the background which chilling around when you get the chance.

And you're right it seems like he is free for the Friday or Saturday. Here's hoping he gets announced and the sun is shining!!

Chances of Slowdive? Would be a perfect Park headliner, IMO. Can't gauge their size or anything though.

On the second line of the poster for Green Man, I wouldn't imagine they'd headline the park but it's definitely the best stage for them

    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
