Perhaps, although she's 5th down on the Field Day Saturday lineup (Metronomy headlined that and the Park last year), and quite a way down most of the lineups for festivals she's playing.

i don't see FKA twigs headlining a stage - said it many times before but subbing either the Park or West Holts (or even JP) seems a good shout. she's really not that big of an act, regardless of the shows she sells out

Ha ha, right you are. Ah well, she's certainly not headlining it. Roundhouse is only 1700 capacity. I still don't see her headlining the Park. Could be wrong!

you are right in many respects and they are hardly the only band ever to have their debut as their best album.

in some ways I myself have got older and more mature and as such their music doesnt appeal to me in the same way it once did.

Kim might be a good musician but her voice is undoubtedly weak in a live setting.

I'm late with this reply, but..

I think they've got better with every album. I could actually rank them in chronological order. I think their music has matured at the same rate and time as myself and my musical tastes have. No Blues is for me their greatest work without question. An unbelievable album.

But don't get me wrong, HONY is still awesome too, when you're in the mood for that.

Would love to see the 2 bears back for a proper set this time rather than a dj set. Can't really tell if hot chip's likelihood of playing makes them more or less likely, maybe a surprise slot on the thursday night in williams green, but the park or maybe west holts would be nice on the day when hot chip aren't playing (assuming they are playing one of the days)

is there any realistic chance of boards of canada, i mean that would be a fucking event, like comparable to portishead a few years ago, can't really see them headlining a bigger stage than the park though.

For me personally it would be bigger than Portishead due to its impossibility. The dream would be those lads doing something in the Glade

Anyway here is some video to go with their last album. Its is nearly as beautiful as their music. They manage to capture the same nostalgic qualities in the visuals as they do in their sound
