Download Festival, Andy Copping and Live Nation are twittering about 'the biggest UK rock tour of 2015' being announced on Monday.

I'm thinking it's the announcement of some Rock or Bust stadium shows but feel free to stone me if it's Mötley Crüe or something.

I say this with no hint of irony.

Mötley Crüe - greatest band ever.

It's a Slipknot tour according to a guy in the know on the DL forums.

Highway to Hell is by far their best album. Every track a corker of the highest order.

Highway to Hell is too polished

Let There Be Rock shows DC at their best

Uh oh.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/10711053/AC-DC-drummer-Phil-Rudd-on-procuring-murder-charge

Worth noting that he wasn't in recent photo or video shoots, the latter of which had a stand sit in drummer. He's supposed to be credited on the new record though so I don't know fully how much this will effect them.

    • We’ve a friend  who has hens and sells eggs for two quid for six. So much tastier than supermarket ones. She has an honesty box outside her house and has now expanded into selling them to hotels and the local butchers shop. Quite a decent wee business
    • Curiously a rumour has turned up that Barcelona are now interested in Rodri. So could make Real Madrid and Man City are suddenly both in need of a central midfielder.    ... Assuming this move to Arsenal for Bruno Guimaraes ends up being processed before those two may need to enter the conversation.
    • I think Thunderbolts probably had one of the more interesting villains for an MCU movie. I was actually a bit creeped out by Void. I'm a massive horror movie fan, and I can't think of another time in the last couple of years where a character legit scared me like he did.    Brand New Day was a good time. A great villain choice as it played into Parker's insecurities. Castle was a strange inclusion but the dynamic between him and Parker was great. Castle must have been delighted to have someone who never seen themselves as superior to him like Murdoch pretty much always did.
    • Certainly the fact Bruce had disasters at West Brom and Blackpool has hurt his chances. Maybe he'll go mentor his son now he's a manager at Rotherham.    Maybe the passive aggressive comment about Howe being "that fella who got Bournemouth relegated" also counts as it's own comment that aged very poorly.
    • When I was in the cinema to watch The Odyssey a few weeks ago, I saw a trailer for a film called One Night Only. Premise is a rom-com but with a backdrop that it's the one night of the year where non-marital sex is legal.   Some of the background mechanics as to how this works as per the reviews seem creepy and like something a lot of people wouldn't just accept and go with. How you marry that to a rom-com narrative is bizarre.
