Has anyone suggested Kiss?

Don't think they fit much of the required criteria, so unlikely. However they seem to finish a European tour leg on June 22nd (in Spain). Also just reading a beeb article on Gene Symmons about how he'll never stop being money grabbing - so if he's smart then this'd be a good market opening opportunity...

Not a good blend with foos & kanye, horrible person, not british, not female etc

There's a rock/metal festival at Castle Donnington in Leicestershire at the start of June, you should give that a try, KISS are playing it!! ;)

I can't see it somehow but kudos for mentioning someone new at this stage

NGHFB are playing European festivals just before and just after Glastonbury, somehow I doubt a random Oasis reunion would somehow fit in to such a schedule. Not saying we won't see them back there in the next couple of festivals or so, but this year...No.

The big question has to be: will there be new material?!

I reckon the first tour will purely be a balls out greatest hits party.

Who knows after that? But Noel has used a chunk of his stock of songs on two NGHFB albums and releases. As long as they don't let anyone else write the songs though, it'll probably be ok.

There'd be a higher chance of this board having reliable information ahead of fan sites like that. It's nice to think it might be the Roses, but whoever it ends up being I have faith in the Eavii that most of us will be pleased with who they pull out of the hat.

Do people think this means nothing?

http://www.thestoneroses.co/the-third-act-at-glastonbury/

I do but thought I'd share anyway.

They've posted 6 articles in the past week, all just reporting other items about the Roses being touted for G. Can't see that it means anything.

A more interesting Roses forum discussing their possible return is this one: http://www.john-squire.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4517&start=1740

the fact they're suggesting the 3rd headliner might be revealed this week says to me they know absolutely nothing at all.

    • They had it last year too, between 3 and 4 pm.
    • I've been told beer will be cheaper until 6pm. Anyone can confirm?   Not like i'll drink more than 1-2 in 38 C degrees.
    • This!   Biffy Clyro I don't think would ever get asked, I just don't think it us their scene and it certainly wouldn't be a wise move for them after how the Finsbury Park show went. If they ever had a chance of regaining or staying a bit higher up taking Slam Dunk isn't how you do it. For the cost of it now I think being into the main headliner does make a difference though.
    • Sabrina I actually think is alright, but as an overall thing including Fontaines in the mix it does look very boring.
    • I went to the O2 show as had cheap NHS tickets. I did love the whole Machine Gun Kelly vs MGK Emo/Pop Punk stuff amusing and could see that show going down well. I thought it was so funny watching the video skits of a die hard old skool fan gradually morphing in to an Emo Kid. That show with less old Machine Gun Kelly tunes and more MGK Pop-Punk would be ace.   Pair him against a heavy act on the other stage and jobs a goodun,
